Frances’ Mail Bag: Alan Wrightson

Yes, Frances Fans, it’s that time again when Frances digs into her mail bag and retrieves yet another letter from one of her stalwart fans.

This one is from someone who writes to her constantly.  Frances has no idea where he finds the time – perhaps it is because there is little else to do in the asylum?

Usually, Frances ignores his letters, but today, she has decided to let him share a little of her limelight. So please, dear readers, make him feel welcome and at home here, in FrancesWorld.

And as a private note to Alan:  next time, please pay postage—Frances does not have an unending supply of cash.  Also, remember to take your medication;  it really does help, you know.

  1. Seriously though, have you seen his latest blog post? Was going to link to it yesterday but didn’t want to contaminate your site. I won’t repeat his accusations here, let’s just say WordPress have a lot to answer for. Free speech my arse..

    • Funny isn’t it how when a person wants to view, say, the I am Cait thingy (very disappointing by the way) Youtube slam anyone breaching precious copyright law and you can scroll down forever, past endless sites that have been told they’re in breach of such laws. Which indicates that Youtube do have the facility to identify videos that are being repeatedly uploaded and they could, given the right imperative, get rid of repeat uploads at the click of a button somewhere. Of course, moral imperatives and legislation in different countries doesn’t seem to be enough of an imperative for Youtube, and WordPress etc so the crap continues unabated and new believers are springing up every day (usually abroad and who seem to think Hampstead is some kind of Dickensian dramatic backdrop) Grrr. Sod ’em.

      • Without wishing to repeat his accusations verbatim I would just suggest that the father in the case gets his solicitor to look at it. Though, as per earlier comment, whether that will do any good is anyone’s guess.
