UPDATE: Rupert Quaintance trial set for late August

As our regular readers are no doubt aware, Rupert Quaintance appeared at Southwark Crown Court this afternoon, for his Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH).

He pleaded “not guilty” to charges of harassment, and his trial was tentatively set for 21 August 2017, though this date is subject to amendment due to witness availability.

As always, we would ask our readers to refrain from speculation or discussion of the possible outcome of the proceedings, as we wish to ensure that Rupert is afforded a fair trial.

  1. Just nice to see people who are always complaining about the police and judiciary getting to see how they work: slowly, methodically and inexorably.

      • What is so sad is that while moaning about `Our world is F**ked up’ and `What is happening to society’ these people are the ones DOING the actual `F**king’ up of society!

Just look at how they want to improve society- forget the rule of law, impartial justice and innocent until proven guilty, these idiots want trial by media, vigilante groups and advocate gun massacres and torture and rape as a solution!

And this directed at individuals and entire groups of people who were investigated and found to be innocent of any wrongdoing at all

Imagine if they actually did get the type of world they are `wanting’, I certainly wouldn’t want to live in it, and after experiencing it for themselves, I suspect these idiots wouldn’t want to be in such a world either- it wouldn’t be a nice place….

        • Thanks, I’ve tried various things. I don’t want the entire screen to show, so I used Snipping Tool to copy an image of the comment and saved it in my Pictures. Once I’ve saved a snipped image what can I do to put it in the comment box though? Nothing seems to work,

        • to screenshot
use ALT and PRINT SCREEN (usually at top right of keyboard)- this copies the ACTIVE window open
this will open a window, save to a directory
(I assume windows does this, I use Ubuntu, I’ll have to start another machine to check windows- if windows doesnt then (I THINK- going from memory here) open win paint, use the edit tab up top, select paste and then save the file from the files tab to a folder of your selection)
          go to https://postimage.io/
upload the image (choose image), once loaded copypaste the link provided back here in the text box and bingo

I’ve just tried pressing ‘Alt’ and ‘Print Screen’ and nothing happened. No new window opening or anything. (?)

          • Once you press ALT + Print Screen, a screenshot of the active window is copied to Windows Clipboard; you need to open up your favorite image editor (e.g. Microsoft Paint), paste the screenshot, and save it — just like you would do if you used just Print Screen.Jan 20, 2013

google says it should work- I I’m on ubuntu so I cant test it atm tho

            Like

          • Jake, there are two reasons why it came up small.

            1. It’s on a reply to a reply to a reply and you’ll notice that as that happens, the comments shift further and further to the right and the pasting space gets narrower and narrower. I’ll paste it into a new thread in a moment and you’ll see the difference.

            2. For bigger screenshots, increase your browser view to 125% before screenshotting. This is better than stretching the screenshot in Word (or other application), as it keeps its clarity, whereas stretching it in Word makes it go blurry.

          • Sorry, Steve – I swear nothing is happening when I press ‘Alt’ + ‘Print Screen’ and when I then go into Paint, the paste button is blanked out.

To be honest, I’m happy with what I’ve got anyway. And Jake had no issue with actually screenshottting – it was uploading it into a comment on here that he was having trouble with, so I was just trying to help him out with that.

  3. Interesting point made on the Paul Joseph Watson gets Mad on Infowars. Apparently Media Matters and others are screenshotting adverts that come up on or next to videos then contacting the advertiser to tell them that their products are being associated with say “Pizzagate” or whatever Hoax Inforwars are pushing. That’s a great idea. When Youtube and Youtubers start losing revenue from more and more bigger names, they might be forced to change their ways and remove or change content.

Alex Jones says buying Infowars products is helping bring down the worldwide pedophile ring, lol, mmmm’kay. https://youtu.be/lC9X0WH6gBU

    • What an arse kisser she really is, and a fruitloop to believe these so called cults are the reason for missing children and that they somehow benefit from eating babies. Put the Weed down KSC.
I was reading this earlier on a site recommended by Justin Sanity.

“5) cannibalism – another legend that proves too difficult to explain away the lack of physical evidence for, and for which a truly believable motivation is never developed. Yes, cannibalism is very gruesome and would be clearly an evil practice, to most people. But, other than doing evil for evil’s sake, what really would be the point of obsessive or continuous cannibalism? How would it contribute to bringing about Satan’s dominion over Earth and mankind, for example. And where did all the skeletons of the victims go? This legend quickly fades, also.

Much of this satanic crime indicators list is easily falsifiable – it simply isn’t true, that there are or were satanic cults operating in North America and Europe kidnapping scores of children and subjecting them to all of these horrors. Therefore, the children in this 20/20 program were not reporting their actual experiences, and since we knew that adults were involved in formulating and circulating these very same falsehoods, it was clear that the children had been manipulated into reciting the adult community’s satanic cult fantasies. Adults were encouraging children to make easily falsifiable claims of victimization, very publicly, to an audience of millions.

After all the efforts dedicated to getting child abuse issues taken seriously in our society, efforts dedicated to promoting understanding and recognition that children are persons with the same inalienable rights to physical safety and security as everyone else, to legal recognition that child abuse is a criminal violation of those rights – culminating in The Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act of 1974 – and subsequently all the efforts to promote awareness and legal recognition that children are harmed by sexual exploitation and by emotional cruelty, and to encouraging confidence in children as reliable witnesses to any harm done to them…

After all of that – in 1985 children were encouraged to publicly, falsely state that they had participated in the torture and murder of other children – of alleged children, children with no names, no histories, no records, no family members searching for them after they are slain – alleged child murder victims who correspond to no missing person reports, whose remains are never found, who cannot be proven to have ever existed.”

(I think there is so many ways because we are all using different operating systems and browsers)
I cant use the chrome addon mentioned before because I am using firefox, and I had to use memory and google to check Windows because I dont use windows, I’m on Ubuntu- worse Windows doesnt always do things the same depending on what version you are running, I got XP and Win7 here on other computers, but XP does things differently to Win7 and Win10 is different again, and my android tablet does it differently again

        Makes life hard

        • Thanks Steve. I’ve had fun playing around with it all. Shame I made a mess of the comments on this post though! EC, you can delete them if you wish.

Steve, the reason I prefer to use ‘Snipping Tool’ is then I only get the bit on the screen which I want.
If I use ‘Print Screen’ it prints your entire screen pic and shows any tabs you may have open and don’t want people to see.

To be honest, we all upload images in pretty much the same way, using Postimage or a similar site. But people (including me) were weighing in with their different ways of taking screenshots, which wasn’t what you’re asking. Ignore all that and just focus on my 4-step guide to uploading a picture and you should be fine! Here it is again:

        1. Go to: https://postimage.io

        2. Click on ‘Choose images’

        3. Browse and select image from your folder

        4. Click on icon next to ‘Direct link’

        5. Paste into comment box

        • Thanks. Yes, I had my snipped image waiting in my folder and couldn’t work out how to get the damn thing into the comment box here, so that the image showed.
Thanks again, I’ve snipped your instructions to refer to until I get used to it.
Thanks for everyone’s time, this evening, it was appreciated.

          • just checked win10 IS different!!

            https://www.cnet.com/au/how-to/how-to-take-faster-screenshots-in-windows-10/

            Modifier keys

With Windows 10, a new screen capture hotkey combination was introduced. Holding the Windows key and pressing the Print Screen button will save a screenshot as an image, removing the need to paste the capture into Paint to save it manually.

By default, these screen captures will be saved at This PC > Pictures > Screenshots.

The problem is that this still captures the entire display — including a second monitor if you have one. If you want to capture just a single open window without everything else, hold Alt while pressing the PrtSc button. This captures the current active window, so make sure to click inside the window you want to capture before pressing the key combination.

        • To be fair he did mention that he had to use the snipping tool and edit the photo before uploading, which was why I suggested using the alt printscreen, altho that apparently doesnt work on all windows versions?

I just checked and it definitely works in xp and win7home giving the same results as my ubuntu system, altho ubunutu gives me the straight save window while I had to use paint in both windows versions here to actually save it

What version of windows are the people that alt printscreen doesnt work for running?

          • Win 10….

You definitely did it right? (holding down the alt key while pressing the printscreen key- like using the shift key???)

Otherwise it may be that Win10 does things differently to the earlier versions (surprise surprise)

any other win10 users it doesnt work for?

          • I use WIn10, Steve and the print screen works ok for me, I don’t have to press ALT at the same time though, just the print screen button on its own works.. I can then paste it into ‘paint’ ok. I don’t like my whole screen to show though, so prefer to use the snipping tool rather than the print screen option.

            Like

          • no worries, it could be that alt print screen doesnt work on win10 anyway

If you look up about halfway the screen in the original thread, you can see the difference between alt printscreen and printscreen has in xp/win7/ubuntu, I dont have to snip the shot using alt printscreen, whereas using printscreen directly I would have to edit out quite a bit

            Like

          • And in firefox at least pressing F11 will take you to a fullscreen display with no tabs or toolbars visible giving you an even better shot straight from the screen
