No remorse: Sabine writes from prison

About two weeks ago, a user on the UK Column community discussion board posted the following letter from Sabine McNeill, who is currently serving a nine-year sentence for four counts of stalking and six violations of a restraining order.

The letter, apparently written on 3 August, reads:

Dear Friends & Supporters,

17 months I’ve survived in here- a battle a day…

28 more is “lenient” according to the appeal judge-

rather than “manifestly excessive” as my legal team suggested.

Once again, a forgone conclusion. Having to listen to this utter mis-representation of the case, my activities was like another set of bombs ***** just as in the sentencing hearing.

But: I now can appeal myself, with a wider scope, not just responding, one charge at a time.

Seasoned prisoners say, “you don’t even get that for man slaughter”.

And I ask myself, who benefits???

Certainly the shareholders of SODEXO, the company running the HMP Bronzefield.

Would I be better elsewhere?

A very good friend recommended Peterboro. Is it worth giving up familiarity?

Is it worth to continue fighting for age and disability?

Even moving to the quiet house would be a big disruption.

I think that would be good enough today.

But “you don’t fit the criteria”.

My saving grace is my near-obsession with my understanding of numbers and the consequences for science.

A psychic once said that people would (looked like kill) themselves in universities….

I have been trying to “hide” it in software. But that has come to a halt…

So the universe wants me to work in concentration and focus and give me clues in dreams!

Friends send me signs of encouragement and everything I need for my work. I even got ACCESS to the library computer next time I need TIME on it.

The result will be “Papers from Prison”. Outside conventional maths salvations from inside a 5-bar-hotel….

The post, which didn’t exactly set the internet on fire (nine comments from five readers) nevertheless offers us some insight into Sabine’s state of mind following the resounding failure of her sentence appeal.

Claiming that she is working on a book about her experiences (working title: “Papers from Prison”), Sabine drops several hints which indicate that the Court of Appeal made the right decision.

‘QAnon…sings the children’s song’

Most alarming is a reference to QAnon, the U.S.-based mega-conspiracy theory based upon the idea that a worldwide cabal of Satan-worshipping paedophiles rule the world, but that Donald Trump will save us.

According to Sabine, “Q Anons The Great Awakening is the voice from America that sings the children’s song….”—a clear reference to the false allegations of Satanic ritual abuse which Sabine spread for three years, and for which she was sent to prison in the first place.

More alarmingly, Sabine writes, “May you sing your song too! May you join Q’s FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT”.

In other words, Sabine is continuing to encourage her friends and followers to continue her “fight”—strange, considering that one of the grounds for her recent sentence appeal was her alleged remorse for her actions.

More amusing, perhaps, is this juxtaposition:

My saving grace is my near-obsession with my understanding of numbers and the consequences for science.

A psychic once said that people would (looked like ‘kill’) [‘hide’, perhaps?–Ed.] themselves in universities….

So the universe wants me to work in concentration and focus and give me clues in dreams!

Because the best way to convince people of one’s bona fides as a Woman of Maths & Science is to cite the mumblings of a fortune-teller and messages received in dreams.

Should she or shouldn’t she?

More prosaically, Sabine muses about the pros and cons of requesting a transfer from Sodexo-run Bronzefield to (also Sodexo-run) Peterborough prison. As usual, she cites her “age and disability”, both of which were dismissed by the Court of Appeal but might be accepted as grounds for a prison transfer.

Decisions, decisions.

Perhaps she should consult wannabe-world-famous tarot-card reader Matt Taylor?

  1. I hope that the members of the appeal board have seen that particular missive, and note it for any future appeals she may make…
    No remorse indeed…

      • Sabine McNeill can request a prison move, she isn’t entitled to one though.

        https://www.prisonersfamilies.org/transfer/

“Does a prisoner have a legal right to be transferred to a different prison if they wish?

No – the Prison Act 1952 says they can be held in any prison. Usually, it is up to the governor whether they are transferred, except for Category A prisoners or people serving a life sentence, in which case Prison Headquarters makes the decision. However, although there is no legal right, the Prison Service does have a location policy stating that contact between a prisoner and his/her family should be encouraged and that harmful effects of being removed from normal life are minimised. The prison also has an obligation to take reasonable steps to keep a prisoner safe, which may include a transfer if they are being bullied.

Can a prisoner request a transfer?

Prisoners can request a transfer through the request/complaints system, or on a special form provided by the prison for requesting transfers. Transfers will normally only be considered after the prisoner has served a few months at the prison they wish to leave.”

They might even want her to stay in her current prison if it is better equipped to deal with her multiple debilitating health ‘issues’.

But, yes, no remorse, no insight, no shame.

I am sure if she wishes she can occupy herself for the rest of her life with whiny indignant appeals. Good luck to her. Keep her busy. It is a long time, a very long time, a very very long time, since she had any sort of paid employment. I think this rubbish she does is part of her identity, who she IS. Let’s hope self interest keeps her out of prison in the future.

I am already thinking, just over two years, released, probation, gets on her high horse, breaks the law, recall to prison.

I also see that she is suggesting she waste court time by “But: I now can appeal myself, with a wider scope, not just responding, one charge at a time” and it is the one charge at a time thing that is wrong of her to do. She’ll probably die before she gets on the vexatious litigant list, people get sooooo many chances.

        She’s a menace.

        • I agree, she’s a menace. And yes, it’s pretty clear that this sort of thing is a large part of her identity. Unlikely she’ll acknowledge that she was in the wrong, or that her actions have hurt many innocent people—including the children she claims to care about so much.

  2. It baffles me that anyone believes in QAnon. But – there have always been hoaxers yet hoaxes will spread more quickly via the internet than in the days when handbills had to be printed. Were the children to reaffirm that it was indeed a hoax when they have reached adulthood might she believe them then?

    Liked by 3 people

    • No, I can almost guarantee that if the children were to go on television tomorrow and announce that they had been forced to repeat made-up stories, the True Believers would claim that they had been brainwashed and were now fully fledged members of the Baby-Eating Club.

    • Are you ok? No recent bangs on the head or anything? Nausea?

Sabine had eldest child, the number three of the Hampstead two, in her own fricking flat, and it simply did not occur to her that this was a child, yes this was a child at the time, a child in danger if what she purports to believe is true. She did sweet FA faced with that situation. No call to police or social services, not even a chat to ask if child 3 is ok. She did zero safeguarding, noooothing. She’s a whistleblower my arse. Faced with a child supposedly in danger, in her home, she does zilch.

Glory hunter more like. Believing isn’t the point.

      • Yes, quite correct. The eldest child, then aged about 17, visited Sabine’s flat. We know this because Sabine discussed it with Angela Power-Disney in a video. As Y’Tracey says, she did absolutely piss-all to ensure the safety of this young person from the alleged “cult”…yet another indicator that she has never believed in the cult’s existence, but rather only wanted to use it as a tool to blackmail Mrs Justice Pauffley. She is a complete fraud, with no interest in anybody’s welfare but her own.

    • There are a number of reasons people express belief in any conspiracy, QAnon just seemed to go weirdly mainstream.
Many who follow these conspiracies seem to be a combination of ‘low information’ thinkers**, people who want someone to blame for their (often) self-induced poor lot in life, contrarians and trolls. Lastly you have the people who have genuine mental issues, but that’s a huge bag of worms…

** This is a big thing to unpack as well. Some well-educated people assume that an evening with Google will transfer a good education to a new subject overnight, worse with non-science based qualifications to an evidence based subject, good examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Others are proud of a poor education and label anything else as elitist and everything is gleefully helped because social media is really good at keeping you in a self-reinforcing bubble of supportive content.

  3. Not the “QAnon ” who largely promote right-wing fanaticism and antisemitic tropes such as George Soros runs the Deep State etc?.
And this is a woman who clearly understood that her mother was obviously badly affected by the Dresden bombings, an end result of her birth places experiment with Fascism.
McNeill has a cause which is basically her own self-righteousness and things like children & families being harassed are merely incidental.

    • The fact that there were only 9 replies examples how This Mob move on so quickly to the Drama of The Day. Neelu & Co have been through several from Lord Wanoa’s rise and fall to Edward Ellis ‘ flight from dastardly doctors intent on making him better, her campaign to free a couple of dangerous quacks to, I think her latest: agitating (ringing up people and making demands) that another sectioned person be immediately released because a “billion supporters” (nine) are watching.
      # What about all the other people who are in mental health institutions?. Don’t they matter?.

  4. In the replies to UK Column’s publication of Sabine’s letter are the claims like this:

“I STILL HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL VIDEOS OF THE KIDS TALKING AND THE INTERVIEWS”
“WHAT THEY WERE TOLD TO DO TO THEMSELVES AS BROTHER AND SISTER, AND THE THINGS THEY EXPRESSED ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED AND WHAT THEY DID TO THESE PEOPLE ALSO WHAT THESE PEOPLE DID TO THEM WAS BY EXPERIENCE ONLY, NO WAY DO KIDS GIVE DETAIL LIKE THAT WITHOUT EXPERIENCING, THESE ARE NO FANTASIES.”

Children “fantasize” every day- it’s what being a child is largely about as the real and imagined worlds merge into one. Otherwise why would Hollywood churn out endless costly cartoon features?.
Apart from the evidence on video they were coerced and their own statements that they were beaten and tortured, this again makes you ponder on the fact so many want this to be true and are fixated on pedophilia in a very unhealthy manner with almost wishful thinking it be true (and why would anyone keep the original videos?).

But these posters also have this status : “UK Column Annual Membership” which means they pay UK Column a membership and Brian Gerrish must have their real names and contact details.
UK Column needs to be watched. If it’s profiting by encouraging harassment of innocent families and Protected Witnesses (2 year jail sentence) it would be a breach of the law.

  6. It may be worth noting that all prisoners released on licence have the following mandatory conditions attached. I suspect she will also have some very specific ones added. On the basis of that communication, I give her a maximum of two months before she breaches them.

    (a) be of good behaviour and not behave in a way which undermines the purpose of the licence period
    (b) not commit any offence
    (c) keep in touch with the supervising officer in accordance with instructions given by the supervising officer
    (d) receive visits from the supervising officer in accordance with instructions given by the supervising officer
    (e) reside permanently at an address approved by the supervising officer and obtain the prior permission of the supervising officer for any stay of one or more nights at a different address
    (f) not undertake work, or a particular type of work, unless it is approved by the supervising officer and notify the supervising officer in advance of any proposal to undertake work or a particular type of work
    (g) not travel outside the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man except with the prior permission of your supervising officer or for the purposes of immigration deportation or removal.

      • They won’t counsel her now if they think they can engage in a long tortuous legal case just prior to her release. I don’t think they really care for her welfare or they would have stopped her ending up in prison. Just think of all the e-begging opportunities she can make from the case of a vulnerable frail old lady, a champion of children’s rights, a victim of a corrupt and heartless state, about to be made homeless and deported to the cold streets of Berlin.

Sabine, not so much a person, more Belinda’s pension plan.

P.S. I know Sabine won’t – or shouldn’t be – reading this, but if any of her supporters are, please tell her to behave herself. She could so easily have avoided being where she is now with just a bit of common sense.

      • She “may” get deported ?! She WILL get deported for sure ! She should ask for a transfer to a prison in Germany where her case will be taken up within days in a German court. No doubt, the court then will release her “on licence” as it were. However, I am sure she will not apply for that – stubborn as she is ! Oh well…..

        Like

        • She can ask for a transfer, but it is unlikely to be granted.

          Factors:
          • If you were living most of the time in the country you want to go back to. Nope
          • If you have close family and friends there. Nope
          • If you have shown that you plan to live there after you are released. Nope

Also any transfer would require her to serve at least the minimum she would serve in the UK, so there would be no early release by doing this.

You could be right, given the current political situation, that she theoretically might be deported but we have no idea whether she has indefinite leave to stay, which she could have through a number of factors. (e.g. O’Neill is not really a Germanic name! 😉)

        • Firstly I don’t think she would be deported (long story, just trust me I’m a lawyer) and, as the Owl says, she isn’t eligible for a transfer and if she were transferred, the German system couldn’t let her out any quicker than the English system. The objective of Prison transfer is to maintain the social ties of prisoners and mitigate the burden on relatives, not to amend the effect of the sentence.

          • I am sure if Sabine McNeill had been served with intention to deport by now, we would have heard about it in her missive reported above. Germany doesn’t allow for dual citizenship, with some caveats, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not British.

Sabine has more than one conviction, and I wonder if deportation could be argued necessary on imperative grounds of public security, as she’s an EU national who has lived here for ages. Perhaps people effected would rather a probation officer keeps an eye on her in the UK?

Here’s a French person, lived in the UK over 20 years, sentence of 45 months for a sex offence on her own child, deported.

            http://www.bailii.org/uk/cases/UKAITUR/2019/DA004452018.html

But, if she’s deported, she could be released early on the early removal scheme, which isn’t the same as a transfer.

I think a big thing for Sabine is she has probably lost her very affordable rent control flat. Housing benefit in London pretty much only covers a room in a multi-occ for single people rented privately.

      • That depends on your definition of paedophile. He admits to having sexual thoughts about children and the dictionary definition of pedo is that. I am not saying he is a child molester though. What i have seen on video is him admitting to having sexual thoughts about children that come and go and i have seen him describing sexually explicit details about rape on missing children that have never been found. How does he describe this highly explicit stuff on a missing child? I would play it safe and keep this weirdo out of my country.

  8. Two glaring examples today of how promoting false accusations can result in dire punishment.
Carl Beech serving 18 years for his bizarre and fantastical claims and Sabine McNeill 9 years for promoting the false North London accusations against innocent families.

I doubt the internet can be tamed and quite honestly, it’s such a superb tool for research etc I wouldn’t want it to be. It is probably that the penalties for promoting and publishing falsehoods that should be beefed up especially the ability for powerless people to pursue those who defame them.

    # I was so disappointed the government took no notice of Lord Leveson’s recommendation: a Libel Tribunal that could be accessed quickly and cheaply for the general population to seek justice seeing that currently libel laws are only for the very rich.

Will be interesting to see the result of the action against Alex Jones by the distressed Sandy Hook parents. But you can see how fixated some are by these bizarre and exaggerated claims. Even in the comments sections of newspapers, no matter how a news story exposes the madness plenty of readers still warn there is a dark VIP Satanist Pedo Ring out there controlling everything and everyone and usually run by hapless Freemasons at George Soros’ direction.

When I go to Sydney I stay with a friend very near one of their auditoriums and it’s quite fascinating to see the 100s of people who pour into their building for a “revival” meeting. Also noticed that in their indoor car-park for the bigwigs- Mercedes, Beemers, one Bentley while the public are bussed in.
Never mind, they are coming to the UK to an arena near you soon so save your pennies if you want to meet God eventually.
      # Completely unconnected and a mere co-incidence but Hillsong is originally from New Zealand and has become a $mega-million enterprise (John Wanoa- eat your heart out) and I always recall my UK PI pal saying the UK Police always said the Aussie con-men made the Brits look like amateurs but the Kiwi grifters almost invented the business. Not mentioning any names of course but Moai Turbine Wind Power comes to mind.

Wherever she is living, probably back in Russia now, several court cases have confirmed the Hampstead parents innocence by jailing people for lengthy times. She digs a deeper hole for herself.
Andy Devine or any of these dills don’t help by encouraging her. They’re more interested in impressing their small coterie of fans. I think they secretly like people going to jail or being sectioned as they can then agitate for their release whilst never achieving anything positive.

    • It’s not a crime not to tell the police the location of someone the police want to interview. How would the prosecution prove knowledge, for one thing? But the tendency of our legal system is to penalise acts, not omissions. E.g. you’re prosecuted for driving or keeping a car without insurance, not for not insuring your car. Anyway Andy Devine is in Greece so even if it were a crime it wasn’t committed in this country and an English court wouldn’t have jurisdiction.

Remember Ella is also promoting the belief her kids were involved in Satanic murders and the eating of babies (courtesy of DHL) but by persisting in what is a hopeless pursuit she’s condemning herself to a life of loneliness and possibly never ever seeing not just her own children but grandchildren if there are any. It’s a terrible family conflict and yet she could end it any day by remaining silent and letting time maybe heal the rift.

But then there is the gang who eagerly promote the lunacy no matter who gets hurt. Why would you even engage with someone like Devine who makes little sense and rabbits on daily as though he’s the first to discover not everything in the world is hunky dory and there are rogues involved in government and so on when very old (but young looking ) “rebels” like me have been saying it for decades and being labelled layabouts by the Devines of the world before their “conversion”.

          # I’ve had trouble with court orders like this in the past where something slips through and it hasn’t been thought out correctly. Not saying this slipped through but I think we all assume that an order stating “parents” in the Hampstead case are “protected witnesses” of course may include the mother in question.

Mind you Matt yet again shows he hasn’t thought things through properly either as he’s breached that order many times. And perhaps this is a copy of the order given to him for that specific reason.

Not only that she is a fugitive from justice wanted by the UK police for questioning.

This is more likely Matt being disingenuous and attempting to twist orders to suit his own breaches.

      • Which case was that order from? My understanding from Sabine’s trial was that, whilst the original case leading to the restraining order involved the two children, it was actually about the harassment of other children in Hampstead and of Church of England officers. In that context, the “children’s parents” cited in that order would be quite different from that in the original High Court order. The father was already protected by the High Court decision so a further order would not be required.

I only say this because I overheard on the first day of sentencing that a witness statement during sentencing was not required from XX because he was not directly involved in the case, other than it was the genesis of the retraining order given at the first High Court hearing. Of course, happy to be corrected as I only heard a snippet of a conversation and I wasn’t trying to listen in.

In any case, the orders are there to protect the identities of children not wanted fugitives. I suspect they are not known as P & Q Draper and so obscuring her name to protect their identities would not relevant. And as exhibit B, the Daily Mail named both her and Christie, so it’s highly unlikely that a newspaper with a properly staffed legal department would have done so unless it was totally legal to do so.

And Matt Taylor’s interpretation of the law has been shown to be complete and utter crap on numerous occasions!

        • But by making such a claim and showing a copy of an alleged court order Taylor continues to show he is oddly obsessed by this case and knows that there are specific court orders re: protected witnesses yet he continues to breech them.
And all the time while having a conviction for harassment in very similar circumstances where he persistently and relentlessly pursued a hapless female online in very odd circumstances as he really had no personal involvement with her, unlike most cases where there has been say an affair gone haywire or some business involvement.

Taylor is an odd bird: he adopts and then discards Freeman of The Land Woo with that mad “I don’t contract with you” yet he does “contract” all the time such as going to a police station and reporting a protected witness yet then tells coppers attending his home “I refuse to contract with you” etc etc and so on with all that malarky. And yet he wants to become one of those who make the laws?.

          # Mind you he does show some talent when he makes those videos and if he were really serious he may well have found a career in TV if he dedicated himself to it.

And why is even bother with Hampstead?. Is it just because the rest of the Nutbag Collection obsess over it just as they all jump on the same bandwagon careering out of control?. All believe in their reality that King Wanoa is the rightful Regent of Great Britain (and all Her Dominions except the State of Victoria) even while Lord Wanoa whiles away his time requesting a second serving of pie & ice cream after lunch at whatever luxury hospital he now resides in whilst keeping a careful eye for whatever nursie may have the most attractive toes.

Of course I blame unemployment and even though I’m a great believer in the Welfare State it’s freed up so many like Taylor (and lets not even talk about John Paterson who wants to take a wood chipper to anyone who displeases him including DCI Grimsdale or whatever he’s called)..they get enough to live on via the dole (or are they all on Disability Support Pensions?) while seeming to never having to report to an office or seem unfazed by “Austerity”, rent paid , all of which in the past didn’t have this modern added element: The Internets which when combined with this lot with time on their hands sort of confirms that old saying : ” the devil finds work for idle hands”.

          • These people get on my nerves. Admittedly the last week I’ve been anxious because my cat (who was quite elderly) had gone downhill rapidly. Long story short, she died this morning so I’m not in the mood for putting up with idiocy anyway (I can usually be quite patient). It’s raining heavily and it’s short days so I am waiting to see if the rain eases off so I can lay her to rest in the garden. Still, that doesn’t concern other people.

          • 😢 It’s coming up to the 4th anniversary of my cat dying. She was 18. I spend over £1,000 on her with The Supervet when she got ill. I don’t regret one penny of that, but I also know that others do not find themselves in a position where that is a viable option.

However, Caitlin Moran wrote perhaps one of the greatest articles ever written about the scraggy furballs we get attached to. Don’t read this is you don’t want to end up bawling your eyes out. It does it to me every time. But it explains everything purrfectly.

          • Thanks for the kind thoughts about my cat. I had a pet insurance for her which helped though I still had to find some of it myself. Owl, I will read the article you link when my feelings are a bit less raw. I’d tried to encourage her to eat (and got bitten for my pains) and of course can’t help thinking well if she was so close to the end should I just have left her in peace. I was hoping for a miracle. She was very weak indeed these last two days and the vet had said if she didn’t eat it might be kinder to put her to sleep but as it happened it didn’t come to that. I know it’s only a kitty and it’s a sadness that is personal to me. But it brings home the things that are really important. There are enough things wrong in the real world without inventing satanic cults to worry about. I mean there may be some real satanic cults but I don’t think there was one at the school/church in Hampstead.

          • Sorry to hear about your cat, my sister just had hers put to sleep, she had a good run, but had kidney failure, so after a long run (17 years!) she finally went over the rainbow bridge
Always hard to lose a pet 😦

      • Unfortunately, Matt is either being disingenuous, or he is talking through his hat. The parents whose names are protected are those who were witnesses in Sabine McNeill’s trial. The order, which was made by HHJ Beddoes in December 2017, is intended to protect parents of the various children mentioned in the proceedings from being connected with those proceedings, which would lead to identification of the children. Ella Draper was not a witness at the trial, and therefore her name is not protected by court order.

        • Thanks for clearing that up EC. I thought that despite him being a wanker, he may have had a point but you have made it clear now. Anyone want to clarify it for him in his youtube comments?

PS I am sure he didn’t make a video about Andy Devine and his videos talking about the mother. I wonder why not if he thinks it is banned by a court.

  12. True@both Sam & naqsej. I saw one video of Neelu ringing up the mental health facility repeatedly when the phone was put down on her, she was laughing & excited & talking to the camera the whole time. Same with Devine, Kaley is really going low as well, ringing C. Woods, encouraging her delusions, telling C. Woods she can stay with her, racing out ‘affadavits’ that say it is ok to commit violence against someone coming to your house in certain circumstances, I hope she doesn’t take her words literally & hurt the baliffs when they return to her.

  13. I’m not sure she would benefit from a mental health unit, but I don’t think Judge Cahill sent her to prison for her benefit in any event. I think punishment and protection of the victims were her priorities.

    • And quite right too. I think Judge Cahill made the right decision & I hope those still sharing videos of the children face justice asap.

I am really concerned that YouTube and Facebook can still allow videos to be shared at all.

Is there any action that the Judge can take ? Or another body with the clout to force platforms to adhere to the restrictions placed ?

  14. Sheva, this is a different type of problematic videos but the YouTuber on this Australian channel has done some debunking of fake baking and fake “how to” videos which are quite dangerous. https://youtu.be/CEQaYdvs478 https://youtu.be/ApO4c2AkLqw I can’t find it again at the moment but there was one debunking video where the lady had reported something to YouTube and they had said the potentially dangerous video didn’t contravene their terms of service.
