Video share: Tips & Tricks for True Believers

We understand how difficult it can be for those who believe in the Hampstead SRA narrative to convince their friends and followers that they are not off their ever-lovin’ rockers.

So we have decided to reach out and offer them some tips and tricks to help them make the story just bit more convincing (or even a bit less unconvincing).

We emphasise the basics: know your audience; understand what to gloss over, leave out, ignore, or explain away; and discredit your detractors.

If you have tips you’d like to share, please feel free! These people really need all the help they can get.

  4. Well it seems Hope Girl isn’t the only one making free energy claims. There was a young boy who claimed to have made such a machine which is debunked in the linked video. The lad even blagged his way into doing a TEDx Talk. I had previously thought TEDx Talks to be good (well many of them are) but they seem to have been hoodwinked here. https://youtu.be/otjvUz7qKXc Somebody (not in the video) said the boy had made the equivalent of a crystal radio. I don’t know enough about the subject to know if that’s true. There are quite a few videos debunking “free energy” though not necessarily debunking Hope Girl. The maker of the video I’ve linked has made quite a few videos about various topics linked to electricity. The channel is called ElectroBOOM. There’s another channel called Captain Disillusion who does debunking videos in an entertaining way. There are probably others but I don’t know them all.

    Back on the topic of this thread, EC I hope your video enlightens some people and you are not just preaching to the converted as it were.

      As I understand it, TedX talks are kind of local versions of the larger TED franchise, so I imagine some questionable speakers might get through the selection process now and then. It’s too bad they fell for a free energy scam, though. I’ve seen some excellent, reasonably easy to follow explanations of why the QEG is a hunk of useless junk, but ultimately, the proof is that no one has ever seen one that works.

    • It’s so difficult these days to know what is true and what isn’t. I’m on record for being a fan of Uri Geller but that’s because I’ve met him twice and been seduced by his undoubted charm. But he did bend a fork in front of me- I would have been only 2 feet away- and the fork had been supplied by the butler of the rather grand lady whose house we were at. It was solid silver and it literally just flopped in half in front of us.
      The same night- it was a big charity bash- my partner found her mother’s watch which hadn’t worked for years which she carried for sentimental value, began ticking. Geller warned the audience that odd things may happen and people should check their handbags and pockets. My lady friend also found an eyebrow pencil with the brand name ‘esp’ had split neatly down the middle into 2 pieces.

      Another friend who supplied the champagne found his car keys twisted out of shape and as my friend and I walked up the driveway of the house with a hairdresser friend who was giving us a lift back to our hotel -Geller passed us and tapped the hairdresser on the shoulder and said “good night”. When we got to his car he found his keys twisted out of shape.We all shared a cub home.

      Geller has reputedly been “exposed ” by magicians like that Randi bloke but he hasn’t- all James Randi has done has reproduce the same effects by magic.(Geller has always said it doesn’t always work).

      But since the advent of the internet there are now so many ridiculous and outlandish conspiracies and so on it’s really made possibly genuine strange happenings get lost in the milieu. Oddly Geller has really avoided much condemning and seems to have made a bloody good living out of what he does.

        Haven’t seen this before. I was just searching Youtube for some vision of James Randi. Apparently this was from an Australian daytime TV show hosted by an American and incredibly he mentions a psychic I knew named Doris Stokes who lived in Fulham. I visited Doris every 6 months or so for readings and suddenly in her mid-70s she became quite famous. This is fun.

        That is very much in the same way as I can always predict the winner of the 3:45 at Uttoxeter… except for the days when I can’t 🤣

        Geller avoids scorn because he is primarily an entertainer rather than a scammer.

        An ex of mine was a spiritualist as was her mother. I went to quite a few spiritualist church events and some of the big marquee names events as a quid pro quo for her coming to Catholic services with my family. Nothing I saw there that wasn’t explainable by cold reading. She’s a Buddhist now.

        • Well not really when he bends a spoon in front of your eyes. At the party I described I got there before anyone else and Geller arrived shortly after so I got to chatting with him. He wanted to know who the really wealthy guests would be and asked me to point them out.
          I learned much later that he had been hired in the past by the host’s deceased husband to advise on something- not sure what- he was the head of a very rich newspaper publishing family.
          Geller was an entertainer early on and he’s very much like a hustler but it’s very hard to dislike him in person . Somehow he’s made a lot of money along the way.

      • GOS, did you mention Rosemary Brown on an earlier occasion too, or am I getting confused?

        With a lot of these “psychic” phenomenon I think there may be a mix on conscious trickery and rather prodigious talents which aren’t fully under conscious control.

          I was basically brought up around spiritualism as my mother was a firm believer and dragged us kids along to churches. i found it all good fun and much more interesting than an ordinary church. My father was completely disinterested in it.

      • i can remember when i was about 12 years old, Uri Geller came up on television. And he told the audience to get non-working watches that he would make run again. It was, as Moderator Thomas Gottschalk put it, a nationwide experiment in Parapsychology. I participated, and sure enough, 2 of the 4 watches we had started working again. People from all over Germany phoned in live with similiar results. Geller became famous over night and made headlines the next day. I had one of the watches in my own hand, as it started ticking again. So no foulplay there. And for long a time that experience made me believe, that while there is a lot bullshit going on, a very little percentage of these phenomenons must be genuine.
        15 years later a watchmaker explained it to me. Mechanical watches are intricate and the cheaper ones are often manufactured close to fitting tolerance. They depend on lubrication and the longlasting oil that is used starts to dry, making the movement stuck. Just taking the watch in your hand and pressing it, as Geller told us, is often enough to render the dried up lubrication into oil again, by increasing the temparature due to the warmth of a human body. The clock was not completely unwound when it got stuck, so it starts ticking again. No ESP necessary.
        When i asked the watchmaker, who remebered the tv-show too, why he did not write a letter to a newspaper to debunk Geller, he said he was to busy repairing the hundreds of watches people had brought in the day after the show. Like mine they had stopped again after a few hours. But many people found that they liked their old watches, and since they knew now that they were not severely damaged, they brought them for repair. The watchmaker told me he hoped for another “Experiment” soon, since business was slow.
        On the other hand, i have nothing to say about the spoons or the car keys. So, who knows.

        • But the event I was at at least 3 people I know did not hold anything but were told afterwards by Geller to check their pockets and handbags a bit like an afterthought. As I said- 2 found their car keys bent right out of shape.
          I’m not really buying your watch-makers claim as it seems pretty far-fetched.
          Doesn’t mean Geller is not a trickster (despite no-one showing how he does it if he is- and all Randi does is re-produce similar “tricks” which is not an explanation).
          # My point,confusing as it is, is not really about Geller but how the internet has thrown up such a blancmange of (millions) of claims and nuttiness that some phenomena that could be investigated further now get completely swamped by madness.

          The Hampstead Hoax is a good example.
          We all (and the law) spends endless hours trying to combat various groups of outright fruitcakes (not mentioning names but Neelu comes to mind) or nasty people (no names..Angie !) and so on. It’s like trying to hold back the tide but we often get swamped by a tsunami of fabrications. viciousness and sheer lunacy.
          # And note how those that drive it can allow their craziness to morph into something else as a new fantasy and obsession takes over.
          Neelu was once a main Hoaxtead agitator but then moved onto Patrick Culinane and his Magna Carta & Talmudic Law rants to John Wanoa and is now driving a campaign for a couple of nasty fraudsters. What next will she get involved in once her quacks are banged up in jail where they belong?. She hardly gives Sabine a second thought these days.

          • I totally agree on your point, the internet being some sort of enabler and even amplifyer for all kind of madness and bullshit. I think there are different factors that generate the madness.
            1. people with extreme beliefs, religions and worldviews can easily connect worldwide now.
            Take for example the flat-earthers. While it might be hard to find one in your vicinity or in your local social circle, you can easily find many of them online. And they all are glad to find like-minded people and will happily and vigourously not only confirm but also enhance and extend their special brand of madness. Confirmation Bias, repetition bias and community bias start to cut in and voila, there you have lots of guys, being convinced that the world is flat.
            The same goes for conspiracies (chemtrails,etc.) and exotic fetishes ( check out the doc “The case of the cannibal cop” on youtube for a fascinating deep dive).
            2. But the internet does not stop there. Filterbubbles and Echochambers are the next level for the newly initiated. What used to be an intriguing idea now becomes integral part of your worldview. And not only do you feel now, that you finally understand this complex world better, on top of it you understand it better than most others (which you call sheeples now, or asleep) and you feel superior (maybe for the first time in your life). And you have invested a lot of time and effort.
            3. Now the next level cuts in. Not only is social media in itself engineered to be addictive, adding to the effect is the dopamine response from said biases. And from here it normally tends to go downhill. Now it is no longer important what the cause was, it is important what allows you continue your descent into the social media purgatory of narcissism and likes. Therefore you can easily change from King Crusty to GcMaf to Hoaxstead and back.Or als Karly Franz did, from SRA victim to cloned ghostwriter slave. And of course topics with extreme emotional response (child abuse e.g.) or fear (chemtrails, G5 , they are poisoning us) work best.
            Now add a dose of mental illness,drug abuse and loneliness to all of this and you get that toxic brew that results in the people the Hoaxtead community has to deal with on a dailly basis.
            When i started to look into Hoaxtead a couple of months ago, i wondered if i would get similiar cases in german. I found none. But now i have my own APD (Catherine Thurner), just as evil, as greedy and as reckless as the original. I have my own Andy Devine (Anon-Rah, Oliver Janich) and so on. And while these people cause havoc in the life of innocents, youtube makes millions after millions and gives a fuck. I can watch people descend into madness on a daily basis now. Turns out like in most cultural phenomena, the US and GB are 8 to 12 months ahead of Germany.
            All my life i was against censorship, but the way social media handles problematic content is irresonsible and harmful. And we have not seen the end of it. Not by far. We need to do better before more people get harmed.

            But you triggered me with that word ‘watchmaker’ and reminded me that last year I took my most favourite Art Deco watch which had stopped working (I bought it 40 years ago on Kings Road in the Chelsea Antique Market for £15 quid) to a watch repair shop and they wrote a receipt with a note for possible repair costs as ‘350’ which I assumed was $3.50 ( so reasonable) and then rang me up a few days later and said the watch was working and I could collect it anytime and pay the bill- $350.

            Ergo all Watch Makers are rogues and scoundrels and probably in league with The Devil.

          • I was a receptionist in a hotel once upon a time & the guest performer for the night was a bloke called Paul Golding, billed as a hypnotist, lots of them around in those days, I am always skeptical & he did pick it up from me when he was registering, (performers got a free stay & a good seisún). I had just handed him his room key, the proper old keys, he asked if I believed in what he was doing & I kinda have an embarrassed little laugh & told him no, he still had the key in his hand on the reception desk & I thought he was a bit nervous as he was rubbing it, within seconds he handed me the key, bent over. I must admit I was flummoxed because those hotel keys were very strong. I kept it for years but it got lost when I moved counties too many times. Still skeptical though I’m afraid! Went to a healer a few years ago, mother in law was most insistent & I went along to keep her quiet he , was recommended by a sick cousin, went in, he laid hands on my head, I was told not to tell him what was wrong with me so gave him non committal answers. He said something, haven’t a clue what, then said, “do you feel your feet heating up”, ummm, I said yes just because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings, dropped £20 in his ‘donation’ box & skedaddled. Neither my cousin nor I were cured needless to say but we had a good laugh at us being so guillable.

            I disown any typos, it’s probably him getting his own back on me! 🤭

  6. I had written a long post and then closed this page by mistake. That might have been a good thing because I can witter on sometimes. I did a search on YouTube on GcMAF and everything I found seemed to be saying it was a wonder cure for cancer. I couldn’t find anything saying it was suspect so I can see how someone who is perhaps of a trusting frame of mind (or even desperate because he/she or a loved one is very ill) might do internet research and think (or want to think) that it offers hope. One or two of the videos were even by people calling themselves “Dr” – whether they were doctors in fact I don’t know. It goes to show that maybe it is okay to use YouTube to gain inspiration but one should do independent “research” outside the internet to verify the accuracy of claims made in that medium.

    • Any drug for any ailment especially cancer goes through absolutely rigorous clinical trials before it’s released especially in the USA which doesn’t stop some drugs eventually having unwarranted side effects and being withdrawn.
      These trials involve professionals in various fields, doctors , scientists, clinicians etc.
      It’s a joke that quack “cures’ like GcMAF are foisted upon an unsuspecting public and creeps like Noakes and all the other quacks who promote their snake oil can cook something up in their garage and make $Millions and idiots like Neelu & Devine promote them.

      # Does this moron Andy Devine have any sort of life apart from rabbiting away for hours every day about how he is the font of all knowledge and arrogantly claims that he is the only one in the entire world who is switched on to the various nefarious machinations of powerful people?.
      Even though he’s only got a handful of deluded crazies who follow him he is a good example of how cults can arise and centre around a “leader” who never actually says anything concrete apart from “I have the secret to life and despite me never revealing it I am going to tell you forever and a day that I am the only one who has The Secret”.

        This GcMAF bollocks is just the latest vehicle he has chosen to jump on board as he sees this as an opportunity to go after his nemesis “Big Pharma “. I saw him the other day with another dubious Northerner who was going on about corrupt Police/Freemasons/Child Abuse/ Grooming Gangs and how his son had been sentenced to 9 years in prison on “false” charges of GBH and Assault but it was really because he tried to expose the aforementioned. Andy lapped it up.
        King John is no longer the flavor of the month with Andy so he needs something new! He really is pathetic and so is Neelu and the Pavement Taster.

      • Ghost, I saw those new Andy-Pandy videos and saw some of the comments – things like (probably paraphrasing a bit) “The (people whose parents weren’t married) could have saved my Dad” or something of that ilk. Trouble is, we don’t know if those comments are from genuine but mistaken people or Mr D’s (or his friends’) sock puppet accounts. As a Christian myself, it annoys me when people claim to be on the side of God when they are telling downright lies. The only other explanation I can come up with would be that Mr D really believes what he is spouting but I’m doubtful. Maybe Fireman Sam is right to suggest that Mr D seeks out narcissistic opportunities – unless he (Mr D) think he can make money off the GcMAF scam himself.

        There is plenty to worry about in the real world with Brexit and its ramifications, relations with Iran and knife crime in London (to name but one city) without making up stuff for people to worry about.

        • I’ve always been a great fan of Jesus Christ (even if he is an invention) as he was the First Socialist !.
          There isn’t a thing he is alleged to have said which I would argue against.
          But I’m sure I recall him saying people will take his name in vain and there will be many false prophets who will use his name- he should have trademarked it (note: he didn’t say this to me personally even though I’m getting on a bit and have mentioned previously I was invited to the launch party for The Ark).

          Andy is just a sad version and ineffectual and insignificant (add your own insults) who like APD arrogantly proclaims to be “doing God’s work” and are no different (just less successful) than those scary US Evangelicals who travel in private jets and pray for Donald Trump claiming he was sent by God (mind you this could be true and it may be a Big Test for us to see how we handle it).

          Unfortunately here in Oz we now have a Prime Minister who claims to be a Christian although shows little evidence of it in the way he treats refugees bearing in mind he belongs to a church where they talk in tongues, hug snakes and believe if you are very rich God is smiling upon you and if you are poor it’s because you don’t love Jesus enough.
          (editor: bit rich you talking- you say you go to churches where they talk to the dead!😮)

          • Ghost, I listened to an (old – well oldish from 20 years or so ago) podcast about cults and the speaker (who didn’t sound like a Christian) mentioned that there was much about the early Christian church which might have rankled of a cult. (The speaker was the late Martin Fido and it was an introduction to “cults that kill”).

            It’s purely coincidental but the writer Phillip Pullman got himself in hot water recently by sending a tweet about Boris Johnson and lampposts and hanging – though he had the brains to make the comment somewhat obliquely. However he was “called out” for it and has deleted his tweet. I’ve never read any of Phillip Pullman’s work and doubt I ever will because anything that rankles of the eerie supernatural isn’t for me. It’s not because he’s anti-Catholic (and I think sometimes the Vatican banning certain books makes people want to read them more) but even Dennis Wheatley’s supernatural novels freaked me out. PP I’m informed is a gifted writer. Now Mr Pullman is more known than the remnants of the Krusty Crew but he got “called out” for a remark not dissimilar to ones made by said Krusty Crew and the KC don’t seem to be held to account.

      and the in-depth Snopes probe are good (though a few years old). Of course they focus on Yamamoto’s delusions and fabulations, more than on his various recent imitators.
      FULL DISCLOSURE: Someone whose initials are S.C. may have given the Snopes author some pointers.

      When you look at the list of “peer-reviewed papers validating GcMAF”, some are the retracted frauds from Yamamoto; some are by Noakes and his little cohort of conmen; and the rest are by staff and hacks working for Saisei-Mirai – the ‘group in Japan [who] created and patented what they call “second generation GcMAF'” mentioned in the Snopes piece.

      • I’ve been accused (not on Hoaxtead thus far) of veering away from the subject of topics so apologies if I’m slightly off-topic with the GcMAF from EC’s original topic of tips and tricks to lead people down the rabbit hole (though she phrased it more eloquently). When I perused YouTube the other day I was a bit perturbed that there was a “doctor” (I suppose he could have been a genuine doctor) at an American university (I think it was “Anderson” or Anderson”) who seemed to be promoting GcMAF. I can’t find such a video on YouTube today. Of course if somebody sees “doctor” it could give the subject under consideration a bogus apparent authenticity.

        The GcMAF scam seems worse to me than the Moai Tidal and QEG ones. Not that I think anyone promoting the two latter cons comes up exactly smelling of the sweetest flowers of spring, but they are focused on parting the susceptible from their money rather than giving false hope to very sick people. I’m not opposed to people who are very ill using palliative/alternative care especially if it can ease their pain. I’ve heard of disabled people using cannabis to help combat pain and I can’t find it in my heart to condemn them.

        I’m glad that someone who may or may not visit this board has suggested that Snopes update their entries on GcMAF. There will be those who say that “they” or “the Elite” or “the Illuminati” control Snopes of course!!!

      • There are various videos she has made where she basically shoves herself in the faces of complete strangers, evidently in an attempt to provoke a violent reaction. She has apparently been known to wave bacon sandwiches in the faces of muslims. She is a big fan of President Trump and Tommy Robinson.

        • I think Amy WANTS to be bopped, arrested, etc. A few years ago she went through a phase of throwing herself into the sea, or down the side of cliffs. Never fatally as you observe, as people always risked their lives to rescue her, but sufficiently to draw attention to herself., which is what it’s all about.

  9. Neelu invites you to join a group that alas for the poor bunny, vanished within the hour of her setting it up. Not sure what it was about but it must have beached Facebook rules- possibleya ‘Help Support John Prattleon to Buy a New Woodchipper for Public Executions” or similar.

    But talk about a Fair weather Friend..just days ago Lyn Thyer was the “World’s Greatest Whistle Blower” but now dropped for Carol Woods who has steamed into the top spot (I have no idea who Carol is).

    • Carol Woods is a former social worker who accused her employers of doctoring documents in relation to family interventions, so clearly a heroine to our self-proclaimed child protector. She has been previously detained for mental health issues.

      Seems to be a recurring pattern with Neelu’s chums. Amazing she’s so far avoided it herself.

  13. Have people who promulgate the hoax ever given consideration to the possibility that it might be that, a hoax? Some of them are parents so how do they come up with the idea that children can’t tell lies. I know that young children sometimes may blur fact and fantasy without malicious intent. The children in the hoax were innocent and co-erced into lying but thinking of another case – when they were caught the boys who were culpable in the James Bulger murder lied initially about being involved. Besides the hoax story being so very far-fetched and the lack of cold, hard proof, one of the matters that made me sympathetic to the people upon whom this hoax was foisted was looking at what had been said by some of the parents whose only “crime” was to have children in the same class as P and Q (hope I have the right letters). I don’t have kids but I thought what it must be like from going from a perfectly normal life, taking the kids to school and collecting them later to having wingnuts phoning up with abusive words or trying to “save” the children. Having to be watchful always when one has done nothing wrong must be awful.

    • You are over thinking this. Some children lie. Some also tell the truth and are not believed. It is incumbent on authorities to investigate.

      The most cursory investigation into this hoax would have revealed that (1) There are no underground rooms in the church. (2) DNA analysis would discount any idea that McDonald’s conducts weekly baby frying sessions, although asking the staff might be a little cheaper. (3) Invoices and delivery data from DHL would refute any suggestion that babies are being sent by courier post.

      The failure to show that any one of these easily corroborated scenarios actually happened would mean that the accusations were false. A normal intelligent person presented with these facts would conclude that there was a more sinister reason fully compliant with Occam’s Razor for the children’s stories – physical and mental abuse by Ella and Abe.

      • I was never against investigating the allegations, Owl. Maybe I didn’t explain myself clearly – I meant that it was evident to sensible people that the matter was a hoax after it had been looked into and that innocent people have suffered when some persons for their own agendas whatever they may be haven’t let the hoax go.

  15. Neelu now presenting a list of wrong doers in the police and civil service who may have been convicted of crimes. Apparently some goose has compiled this although he walks a fine line by including those who may have an ongoing case before the courts.
    I’ve got no interest in it apart from that it’s actual proof that it is very hard to escape the law if you offend but the annoying part is she labels whoever the fanatic is that compiled it is a “whistle-blower”. I hate how she misuses this word and devalues it.

      • The fact that Stansfeld condemned the Lord Bramall fiasco in 2016 (although Blind Freddy could see it was train wreck on the way to happening) but it took until 2019 for the fantasist Beech to be jailed sort of proves how ineffectual he is, I would have thought.
        There seems to be something highly unethical about a Crime Commissioner being involved in a fake fantasy “court” run by a bunch of con-artists. The voters of the Thames Valley must have rocks in their heads and should ask for their Council Tax back.

          IE is he actually a full on nutcase, or was he an ‘invited speaker’ speaking on a matter where he has expertise???

          We all know that the banking industry has had a lot of financial issues, and there are still ongoing investigations from the 2008 financial collapse, due in no small part to the the closed nature of the banking industry…

          It wouldn’t be the first time that an innocent person has been deceived by the nutcases after all…

          (on the other hand it wouldn’t be the first time someone who has or had a position of authority has gone off the rails either, in which case his appointment to the position should be seriously looked at)
          (I listened to the entire thing (available at https://commission.itnj.org/2018/06/05/anthony-stansfeld-police-crimes-commissioner/) and at the time they did manage to avoid the worst of the nutcase arguments- they actually did sound rather level headed…

          He sounds very much like an invited speaker, talking about his area of expertise- which in no way validates the ITNJ itself

          • My father was a banker his entire life. In old age he condemned then and said how unethical they were. he became fascinated by the notion of Islamic banks and the idea of usury being a “sin”.
            There has just been a Royal Commission in Australia into he banking industry. Terrible deeds were unearthed. Some people may go to jail.
            But This Mob think mortgages are going to be banished and everyone given free money. Madness.

          • All those who support these fantasies like the ITNJ including Carling seem to have one glaring thing in common: mortgages.
            I would never celebrate anyone falling over because they can no longer pay their mortgage ( even Neelu – but it’s hard) as the inevitable course would be incredibly debilitating but they all seem to avoid the obvious- they haven’t paid it and having signed a contract inevitably they will lose any legal action.
            So they participate in the system by seeking a mortgage in the first place and then try to opt out of it when they no longer want to play but still want to own a house.
            The implications of their weirdo belief that all mortgages will be cancelled doesn’t bear thinking about.
            For instance Neelu in all her ravings obviously doesn’t give a single thought to the fact probably the entire residents of the suburb she was evicted from are also striving to pay off a mortgage against the odds and are not about to buy into her free house scheme.

            What gets me is that they simply don’t seem to understand that banks don’t ‘make money out of thin air’
            In the case of a house sale, the bank has to ‘give’ the previous owner of the house the money (on your behalf) so THEY get THEIR money, you then have to give that money back, plus interest on the loan over the period of the loan…
            If everyone didn’t have to repay it, then very soon the bank would no longer have any money to ‘give’ to the previous owners, who would then not be willing to let you live in the house…
            Pretty simple really…

            The nutters all seem to think that the previous owner should just give them the house for free- if it was them that was selling a house, you can bet your ‘backside’ that they would want that money right there and then….

            (the whole aspect of the banks and their financial dodgy practices are a completely different aspect, the fad for ‘deregulation’ of the financial market led to a lot of people being given loans they simply couldn’t afford, as the banks became less and less regulated, the pressure to ‘keep up the numbers’ intensified…) leading directly to the 2008 financial crisis

          Do these mooks believe that a Police & Crime Commissioner is a high-ranking member of the force who gets to direct investigations & do his own detectiving? More to the point, do they think that their suckers will believe it?

    • Looks like more gobbledygook.
      How can a Crime Commissioner put anyone in jail?. They have no powers to hold investigations. I’m not even sure what their role is except to hold the occasional meeting with the public and smooth ruffled feathers. They always seem like a complete waste of money and time. Another government created boondoggle.

      I’m just puzzled how these people actually survive the day when they live in an alternative reality where fantasies rule the day. We’ve actually been talking on here about a homeless Kiwi who thinks he’s the King of England. Maybe we’re as bonkers as they are.😕😕😕

      • Crime Commissioners have by and large replaced police authorities. These were usually made up of councillors from the local area so in most cases was either cost neutral or slightly cheaper. Their role is to provide strategic guidance and allocate the budget of an individual force and therefore how much council tax precept is required (as did the previous police authority).

        They have no control over operational matters although, say, if a commissioner decided to allocate an increased budget to a fraud unit then this would have some effect on an individuals ability to respond to fraud allegations.

  17. PCCs set police budgets. They also hold the budgets for things like witness and victim support and other CJ services – their decisions will decide whether victims’ charities sink or swim. They are also responsible for setting a four year plan setting out the key objectives of the police and how they will achieve them. They are responsible for hiring and firing chief constables and measuring their performance. All of those things make them very powerful.
    There is a plan floating around to put them in charge of the whole criminal justice system within their area (it’s rather misleadingly called devolution) – so probation, youth offending service and possibly courts administration (not judiciary) – and where Mayors carry out the role of PCC, that is already happening (e.g. Greater Manchester). They are also taking over the fire services. Don’t underestimate them.
    They don’t arrest people or investigate, but they do set priorities – if a PCC says that his force’s priority is sexual offences, or modern slavery, or computer fraud, that is where the £££ will go and you’ll see a rise in arrests in that area of crime as it will be part of the Chief Constable’s performance objectives and resources will be put into it.
    PCCs can be scrutinised by police and crime panels but they don’t have any powers to do anything about what they find – the only accountability is by the electorate, but since hardly anyone votes (only 13.3% of the electorate voted in Mr Stansfield’s election), that isn’t much of a stick.

  18. Interesting new judgement in the South Australian woman who won a defamation case (after 10 years !!) against Google often having to conduct it herself after running out of money.
    She’s suing Google again after the search results they agreed to remove started popping up again.

    It’s only a fraction of what the Hampstead victims have been through. It’s not just the parents- the children have been accused of murder and all manner of horrendous things. How will it affect them when they get older and need to get jobs etc?.
    The only downside of Sabine being jailed for 9 years is she had no property instead moaned endlessly about her social security and pension problems not giving a flying stuff about how her victims may be financially impacted.
    I’d be completely ruthless with these people and see them homeless if I could not for vindictive reasons but it may make the concentrate on other matters rather than trying to destroy innocent people.
    Google, Youtube etc don;t move fast enough.

  19. The Youtuber Shaun Attwood is due to be interviewing Jon Wedger live at 6pm tomorrow evening. Shaun has really fallen into the conspiracy world quickly, I hope that he is prepared for all the fruitloops he is going to encounter along the way.

    • He calls Weinstein and Epstein “untouchable”. That’s one who is on enough charges that could see him jailed for life and the other who killed himself rather than face life in jail. Gawd I’m sick to death of these youtube bandwagon jumpers. Not one exposes or releases any information that is new (including Wedger).
      As for a certain Royal, just because people make numerous claims about you doesn’t mean he has to bloody explain himself no matter what people think. If you accuse it’s up to you to prove. No-one has to prove their innocence.
      No wonder fantasists like Carl Beech get away with destroying lives so easily when there is a tsunami of gossipers behind him who will become an echo chamber.

  20. It is refreshing to read a lot of negative comments about Wedger under the Shaun Attwood video. It looks like a lot of people have finally cottoned on to the fact that he has not blown the whistle on anybody.

    • I have to say that is great news especially coming after I ventured onto Youtube today and typed in “Hoaxtead” and came up with all sorts of bizarre creatures..some of them either mad or psychopathic.

      Several I noted whose sheer nastiness is evident and very upsetting : someone called ‘targeted individual’ (I can only last about 5 minutes with these creeps- someone please educate people on Youtube that “less is more” especially when you are frigging boring individual rabbiting on about rubbish.)
      # I’d never be so ill-mannered as to name an individual who fits that profile ie: boring, repetitive, arrogant, verbose and possibly with several screws loose ..although the words Andy & Devine come to mind.

      Another who looks just too bloody creepy that if I lived near him I’d be warning children to steer clear-named Shame McMahon who apparently lives in Liverpool UK.

      But I am getting a tad pissed off with the laxity of the UK police (and Irish Garda) in IMPLEMENTING THE LAW (apologies for capitals).
      Many of these people are BLATANTLY BREAKING THE LAW. That Cat Snot woman, our Liverpoll thug, bloody John Paterson still issuing threats and Matt Taylor who already has a conviction for harassment.
      And of course a certain Irish blogger.

      They are naming a Protected Witness: they are flagrantly breaching court orders.
      They are accusing 2 innocent children of dreadful crimes (they seem to overlook this)..children who are almost teenagers who will enter that period of life where emotions are so bloody complex and we have so much evidence of how the online world can be so devastating for teens. It’s difficult to imagine what that may be going through. I hope they have a lot of support- I suspect they do.

      But it’s time the law cracked down on these creeps.
      This case is pretty unique. Several court cases have found a father totally innocent and the victim of terrible crimes against him.
      This isn’t like the terrible open case of the Madeleine McCann case- and I abhor those who accuse the parents when there is no proof.
      ## I can’t even watch that goat Brian Harvey but does he mention the Hampstead matter or is it in the imagination of that Scottish nightmare?.

  23. I just looked at the comments on the latest video on AD’s backup channel, EP. Is King Crusty back? There weren’t many people commenting on AD’s video. Mind you I daresay he deletes comments that don’t suit his agenda or ask questions.

    • Just looked- Paterson rambling on with his usual nonsense with an “historic broadcast” a bit like his historic phone call when his credit ran out. Prattleon seems to think that if he puts enough drama into his voice it means a lot.
      Apparently he and Edward Ellis “served papers” on the Law Society at the Law Courts and there was a demo on and Prattle spotted a camera crew from Russia Today so that poor hack got collared by Prêt-à-Porter who told him “google me and Finchley Road and why didn’t you film me getting kidnapped by 5 cops on these steps when they carted me off to a psychiatric clinic for 9 days” which PittyPat seems to think will get him an interview on Russia Today where he will blow the whole thing wide open and it’s all going down..but I got bored at that stage as it’s just another mutual wank of a video where 3 dills claim they are re-setting the world and so on.
