Cat’s got questions, EC’s got answers

Catriona Selvester has a problem, and we’d like to help her fix it.

Cat seems to have developed a leeeeetle tiny obsession with EC—not only has she posted videos and blog posts about her, she even has a Pinterest page where she stores EC’s press clippings from 20-odd years ago, when EC was a mystery author. She’s collected pictures of EC’s (long-deceased) parents, photos taken on holiday, personal data from Encyclopedia.com…she really seems enthralled.

The problem, though, is that poor Cat is shy. So shy, in fact, that she has blocked EC on all her accounts except YouTube (and we expect that will follow as soon as she reads this, for read it she will).

Her other problem is that she seems not to have adapted well to the rigours of post-primary school life.

So rather than come out and just admit that she cannot stop obsessing about EC, she gets her friends allies expedient acquaintances to write and publish nasty things about her—because everybody in Year 3 knows that this is the correct procedure for informing someone that you like them.

“MacDonald Trina” is one of Catriona Selvester/Cat Scot’s screen names

Yesterday, EC decided to offer Cat a helping hand: she published the following on Twitter and Facebook, in hopes that it might encourage Cat to get over her shyness and face up to her feelings:

She even made up a nice invitation card for the occasion:

And she posted it on one of Cat’s YouTube videos, where she would be sure to see it:

Some readers of this blog have even offered their assistance: Flo Destroyer kindly said that he would host the discussion on a live-stream:

But 24 hours later, and nary a word from Cat.

So EC would like to issue the invitation once more: she will be happy to have a discussion with Cat, in which she invites Cat to ask all the questions she wants, and she will do her very best to answer.

Does Cat want to know about her education, her degrees, her books, her careers, how she got involved in the Hampstead SRA hoax, what size shoes she wears, why her hair is purple? This is her big chance to get it all out in the open, like grown-ups.

To arrange the live-stream, Cat can contact EC via the Contact Us link on this blog, or via YouTube, whichever she prefers.

Come on, Cat. You know you want to.

  1. EC, one thing that nice Ms. Selvester could ask you is how you manage to stay so slim. Maybe you could give her some dieting tips.

  3. Odd that Cat posts stuff like this but doesn’t take the opportunity to interrogate EC about it:

As her handler Angela would say, “That’s not ok.”

      • If anyone believes that Mr Wanoa is using his NZ company-shaped exercise in fantasy for nefarious purposes (like eliciting donations, disguised as purchases of shares that he is in no position to provide), there are avenues for complaint. Youtube videos would count as evidence, I imagine. As would Faceborg pages, and web pages.

        https://www.companiesoffice.govt.nz/about-us/our-enforcement-approach/make-a-complaint/

        “Make a complaint

After we receive your complaint, our Integrity and Enforcement Team conduct an initial enquiry to gather information. Without sufficient information, our Integrity and Enforcement Team may not be able to progress your complaint.

Any information you provide may be disclosed to the person you’ve named so they can respond to the claim against them.”

  5. Remember, folks – Andy Devine is NOT an ignorant racist prick, mkay. It’s just a myth.

    Oh wait…

    • I have no idea who in the Hell Rabbi Emmanuel Rabinovich is but has Andy Devine (and his ilk) ever considered that, amazingly, one Jew does not speak for all Jews?.

My parents- a Jewish Russian mother with a fascinating family history (all aggressive left wingers and librul snowflakes) that dates back to the Lithuanian Upper Classes and a Scot’s Presbyterian father who couldn’t have been more Conservative if he tried but was the most gentle loving man I have ever encountered and I still feel guilty that I never really thanked him for the important lessons he instilled in me from an early age including how to treat employees as trusted friends and table manners that have seen me never, to date, thrown out of a dinner party. (you take me anywhere and I’ll never upset the host / hostess by drinking from the vase of decorative flowers.)

I reckon even Andrew Devine and that New Zealander bloke draining his finances, John Wanoa have antecedents that they too should be proud of (or ashamed off – I have many) but the point is: we may well be influenced by our upbringing, our parents, and in turn, their parents but we do have Free Will.
All Brits do not speak, or example all British people nor do all Irish born folk or even, New Zealanders and even: Canadians !! ( had to- EC ).

And if you can get a bunch of Jews in a room to agree on anything, as I recently experienced when invited to a cousin son’s Barmitzvah and one guest stupidly decided to discuss Brexit and all Hell broke Loose so that an even more distant cousin had to intervene to avoid WW3 but was accused by even further distant cousins of being a crook because so many of his ‘Carpet King’ outlets had gone bankrupt and so on.

Andrew Devine: underneath we are all the same and that goes for all races and one does not speak for all unless instructed to by something like an election.
However in some groups, some can be Stark Raving Mad (not mentioning any names this time).

      • “I have no idea who in the Hell Rabbi Emmanuel Rabinovich is”

        An invention of neo-nazi shitweasels.

‘Rabbi Emmanuel Rabinovich is a non-existent figure commonly cited in antisemitic propaganda. One such fake is a supposed speech by “Rabbi Rabinovich” entitled “Our Race Will Rule Undisputed Over The World” to the “Emergency Council of European Rabbis” in Budapest, Hungary on January 12 1952. This forgery is taken as a “proof” of a Jewish plot against the whites in much the same way as another hoax, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” invoked in the Rabinovich speech, is used as “proof” of Jewish global conspiracy.’

        • I don’t want to bang on too much about the same thing but there is an anti conspiracy podcast I like that dealt with “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” in one episode and played a comic song about them. Although from a few years ago some of the comments under the video show that some folk believe them, unfortunately. https://youtu.be/7XrRyqses5U

I used to know a Jewish lady (though I don’t think her husband was Jewish) who sent money to support the Palestinians.

          • Yes, that’s not at all uncommon, CAW–just as not all Britons support the current regime, neither do all Jews support Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians. Many have actively worked to improve the situation.

  6. What cat is doing is actually a crime and should be treated as such.

    • There is also the fact she calls this website “Jokestead” and I don’t think it’s because of the undoubted brilliant humouress posts by many of the regulars (who I will not mention although the hilarious Ghost of Sam comes to mind with his / her sidesplitting and knee slapping bon mots) yet- the fact is that Hoaxtead has really had successes even in a small way, aiding in the prosecution of some offenders like the hapless Rupert Q.
Cat Scot really is engaging in a sort of masochism which will never be rewarded. She attacks and defames but there will be no reward as, the law and reality is on our side.

    • Unfortunately, you are both correct and wrong in the same post.

You are right that Cat is likely committing criminal offences based on EC’s allegations however the wrong legislation is quoted in that unless Cat and EC are in a close relationship of an intimate/family kind (as if!) then there is no offence made out under what you’ve stated.

However under the Prevention of Harassment Act 1997, Malicious Communications Act 1988, Communications Act 2003 and various amendments there are likely criminal offences made out by the alleged actions and the course of conduct by Catriona Selvester. There are also hate crimes involved in Cat’s online material which aggravate the likely offences. Her own anti-semitic posts on Facebook for example.

      May help EC.

Alternatively there is always the Harry Hill solution to this: FIGHT!!!!!!! 🙂

          • The point being that our two resident ‘lawyers’ here are quoting English law. The CPS, for example, have no role to play in the administration of justice in Scotland – it’s the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. The acts cited do not fully apply in Scotland. That, seemingly, being what is not known!

          • So, you know Cat’s based in Scotland and supposedly committing a criminal offence from there, yet are hoping to apply the law of a different country, to which she is not answerable? And that in any case only addresses domestic abuse? i.e. An act which you well informed types didn’t bother reading! Excellent! I can see exactly why she carries on undaunted at the prospect of prosecution and all this Hampstead nonsense will be dead, buried and forgotten very soon!

          • Many people very much share that hope. However it was the Irish and American police and local laws they both respectively answer to is it not? No English Bobbies knocking on their doors or English laws crossing borders. So the point is well made. If you are going to explore the ways of bringing someone down, at least take the time to google what country they are in what the law there is and what the law you are quoting actually says.

The act also covers someone that stops someone from having a social media life as that’s fall into coercive behaviour. all this hiding behind a keyboard and not willing to address anything with you. It just highlights the controlling and coercive behaviour in cat. I would seriously consider reporting this as a crime because it is malicious on what she is doing.

She had never even seen a computer let alone the internet so she wasn’t really that worried. But the effects upon her relatives was immense. Some where police officers and felt impotent yet raged at times about the fact they could not retaliate in a legal way.

  9. In regard to online (Cyber) bullying – as is certainly appropriate based on “The Cat’s” comments –

Harassment – This is the act of sending offensive, rude, and insulting messages and being abusive. Nasty or humiliating comments on posts, photos and in chat rooms. Being explicitly offensive on gaming sites.

Denigration – This is when someone may send information about another person that is fake, damaging and untrue. Sharing photos of someone for the purpose to ridicule, spreading fake rumours and gossip. This can be on any site online or on apps. We even hear about people altering photos of others and posting in online for the purpose of bullying.

Flaming – This is when someone is purposely using really extreme and offensive language and getting into online arguments and fights. They do this to cause reactions and enjoy the fact it causes someone to get distressed.

Outing and Trickery – This is when someone may share personal information about another or trick someone into revealing secrets and forward it to others. They may also do this with private images and videos too.

Cyber Stalking – This is the act of repeatedly sending messages that include threats of harm, harassment, intimidating messages, or engaging in other online activities that make a person afraid for his or her safety. The actions may be illegal too depending on what they are doing.

    And certainly

Bullying by spreading rumours and gossip
The worst thing about social networking sites and messaging apps is that anything nasty posted about you can be seen by lots of people and these posts can go viral very fast and be shared by so many people within minutes in some cases.

From what we have heard from people who have been bullied online, the most vicious gossip and rumours are often spread by people who were once your best friends so it’s best to keep secrets and personal information to yourself. Only tell people things if it wouldn’t embarrass you if other people found out about them. Posting false and malicious things about people on the internet can be classed as harassment.

It would appear that this would hold true for all readers of this site and her “fans” also –

    Innocent bystander
There is no such thing as an innocent bystander and if you have seen someone being bullied online, you can report it to the online site or app. Ignoring it may feel like the easiest thing to do but the person who is being subjected to that bullying may need your help and support to get it stopped. Most sites now have a report button which is something you can do and this will send the bullying comments to the site to investigate.

    Just throwing that in………

Oh and if “The Cat” is reading this

Anyone who makes threats to you on the internet could be committing a criminal offence. It’s against the law in the UK to use the phone system, which includes the internet, to cause alarm or distress. If you post abuse about anyone else online or if you send threats, you can be traced by the police without any difficulty. Every time you visit a website or make a posting, your internet service provider, Sky, BT or Virgin, has an electronic note of your activity. Even if you create an anonymous email address like Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo, you can still be traced.

Apologies for everyone who knows this – but some……just don’t get it.

This is a very bad plan.

He requires leave to enter because he has previously been refused leave in the U.K.

He could apply abroad to the British High Commission or seek leave to enter from an Immigration Officer on arrival in The U.K.

I’m taking a wild guess that he does not intend to do that.

If he carries out his plan he would be an illegal entrant, illegal entry is a criminal offence.

        • If Irish immigration were informed I doubt that plan would succeed.
And those advocating it are conspiring to break UK immigration law.
Wanoa is ranting and raving that his adversaries should be “swinging in the streets” along with a certain well known British monarch.
It’s only a hunch but my guess is the Republic and Northern Ireland have had their fair share of terrorism and death threats and wish to put it all behind them.
For a New Zealander who appears to be full blooded Maori and alleged rights activist he keeps harping on about some alleged Irish ancestry.
If he has a set of Irish grandparents (or even one) he can apply to become an Irish citizen and get an Irish passport.
My guess is any Irish ancestry is further back than that which makes it irrelevant.

But we all should be careful as he’s threatening to meet up with “the Indians” in Australia and have them or “the Chinese” arrest his detractors.
Whatever happened to his powerful pal Harald Link?. You’d think he could pull a few strings and have Thai authorities arrest his opponents as well.

A couple of particularly nasty videos re Hampstead have been posted on Rose Leedy’s account on You Tube. She shows videos of the kids and names the names of innocent residents and teachers etc. You get blocked quickly if you comment, even if you’re nice.

This is a lady who’s obviously poor and says she has panic attacks and has recently (she says) been trolled badly because of another issue. She’s obviously a Silly Billy and hasn’t learned the error of her ways. Did I mention that her rather sensational Hampstead videos come with a Patreon Account?

Thumbs down and complaints needed please.
