Hoax supporters react to Sabine McNeill sentence

It’s not as if this wasn’t wholly predictable: within minutes of the announcement of Sabine McNeill’s nine-year sentence being handed down, the first howls of rage were detected…all the way over in Greece.

Andy “Make Mine a Double” Devine was first out of the gate, slugging back the vino while expressing his outrage at Sabine’s sentence:

Hot on his heels was Angela Power-Disney, who was (almost) speechless with rage:

Not for long, though: within hours she’d thrown up a brief rant video which we won’t link here, as it violates the reporting restriction on Sabine’s trial. Suffice to say, she seemed a bit subdued—possibly having had a glimpse of her own future.

“Hello, RyanAir? Any flights to Lanzarote open?”

Neelu, meanwhile, was incoherent in her own special way: she erupted in the comments section of a Facebook post in which she’d urged people to attend Sabine’s sentencing.

Her response: “Bring back firing squads”. And you thought nine years was harsh?

Tim Veater was pretty exercised about Sabine’s sentence as well, and decided to express his annoyance by torturing all five of his readers with nausea-inducing font-size switches:

A new-to-us hoax promoter, Brian Willmot, got all teary-eyed about the good old days when Sabine used to expose “Satatinic Ritual Abuse & UK Government Child Snatching”:

Brian Gerrish piped up too, with a tweet indicating his intention to continue attempting to sell the false allegations for which Sabine has just been jailed:

Brian, of course, had a special place in the hoax, as Abe and Ella dragged the children off to be inspected by him in the week after they returned from Morocco. Either he had his doubts (unlikely) or felt the case was too hot to handle (less unlikely) at that time, but he made up for it when Sabine unleashed the videos in January/February 2015, and has been episodically braying about it ever since.

As Richard Bartholomew of Barths Notes pointed out yesterday, for those in the conspiracy milieu “the instinct is either to double-down or scrub the evidence, rather than to admit to having colluded in a terrible error that needs to be put right with a corrective repudiation”.

It seems a foolish choice, as we’ve now seen that the police and courts have developed an appetite for dealing with the stalking and harassment which seem endemic to the conspiracy community.

Sabine’s trial has shown us that the harm done by those who wilfully spread lies about individuals and communities will no longer be ignored or minimised, and that hefty sentences will be imposed on those who use the internet as a weapon of terror.

  1. I noticed a lot on Twitter today & FB asking what they could do about it. I very nearly told them that when the ‘King of John Wants Brains’ arrives he intends to free her, but held back as it might have been too much news for their mush brains to take in all at the one time.

Darn, do we have to watch Gerrish now (paint drying) in case he does something illegal. GRRRR!

    • And in common with a number of other hoaxers, she also still thinks that the Hampstead church in question is a Catholic church.

    • That didn’t happen at my Catholic school either, Owl. I know that there was a period in history when the castrati did exist (not the Catholic Church’s finest hour) but it’s a very long time ago. And if the woman heard chanting from underground and considered it sinister why didn’t she do something about it then and there.

  4. Ahhh Charisse Burchett. She popped up on a page called Dignity for the NHS posting about this (but didnt name anyone) mate of mine let them know about this page and what she was tryiong to insinuate and they banned her and removed her posts. She’s a right anti vaxxer weirdo amongst other things, tries taking Dr Christian Jessen on on twitter a lot (and loses). They’re a strange old bunch arent they?

  5. The grand finale will be the coming trial of Angela Power Disney. I know Hoaxtead blog does not ask for funds, but the proposal made does not come from Hoaxtead, but from me and supported by a good many people who would gladly fund the expenses of Karen Irving aka El Coyote to Ireland to report on the trial of Disney, which may happen later in 2019 or early 2020.

    • There is some good news for Angela out of all this. The great mathematician Sabine has been spotted doing the sums to calculate her own precise release date on the back of her campaign of mindnumbing idiocy.

When she hasfinally finished the number crunching Angie will benefit by knowing how many additional years she will be banged up for and thus prepare the exact number of bales of “pissed stained knickers”(copyright Wavy1) to load into the paddy wagon when it arrives. Her family and neighbours will also be able to draw up a clear strategy both as to how long the street party will last and which decade exactly not allow her back into their midst to shit all over the place again.Win/win.

  6. If ” King John” is allowed entry in to the UK after the info and links I have given to the UK Border Control then I will take a buggering! Maybe a few more of us should let them know of his intentions and background as well, just to make sure.

  8. it never fails to piss me off that it is always “a 74 year old disabled woman” that is being “picked on” by those evil courts police, elites etc etc.
The same people APD, Dunn, Pikey, Devine etc never hesitate to demand the head chopping off any old person who is the target of wild accusations despite any actual evidence being presented. Being old, disabled, suffering from Alzheimers etc, is never relevant then for some reason.

  9. By the way EC, before I forget, not one of these shitheads (and all of us too, of course) would have a clue what went on at all if it weren’t for you keeping the world up to date.
Even shits like Ian Joseph decides (having not attended or knowing anything much at all) that it was a secret “kangaroo” court. Then complains about the witnesses’ indentites being protected. What can’t these people understand about the desire not to have children’s indentities plastered all over the internet.
This from a so called ‘campaigner’ for parental rights.

Methinks this subject (protecting children’s identities in cases like these) may be a good explainer post to educate the numpties. If anyone has the interest and skills to present this, it would be useful as so many peoples seem to either have dificulties understanding it or they appear to purposely want to know all about other people’s children in a very unsavoury way.

I would be extremely surprised if you have had any words of thanks from any of them for all your hard and extremely competent work. Don’t think it is not appreciated.

  10. I’m new to the Hoaxtead site, so apologies if this has already been covered here, but why do you think people believe something so obscene and ridiculous as the Hampstead hoax and keep rabbiting on about it?

    • Some do it because they can make money out of it, some because they are mentally ill and it fits with their paranoid world view and others do it because they are spiteful and malicious and want to ruin the lives of people they secretly envy.

I think the only one who WON’T breach her court order will be Bellender as I reckon she’s too smart. Eddie Is a Cock is bound to put his foot in it and Spivey is on thin ice,

Even if there were no other evidence, Gerrish becomes a fraudster simply from the association with de Carle.

  12. Can’t agree with the judge’s sentencing remarks. I know what she did was unforgiveable, but Sabine is still a victim. As for the UK Column, these are idiots who are totally immune to facts. Gerrish even defends the more extreme garbage. No rational person should patronise such a “news” service.

    • Sabine had done this before and been censured by the courts. Look on Bailii and you will see she has been asked to take blogs down prior to the Hampstead case. She continued to champion the case even if she took certain pages down. I disagree with you thinking she is a victim. She is only a victim of her arrogance and ideas of invincibility and grandeur.

      Liked by 1 person

      • Can you suggest some search terms for her on Bailii because I looked under both Sabine McNeill and Sabine Kurjo and found nothing.

        Like

        • Odd, I found it, maybe I have superpowers. Try http://www.bailii.org/cgi-bin/format.cgi?doc=/ew/cases/EWFC/HCJ/2015/26.html&query=(sabine)+AND+(mcneill) which gives you P&Q (the Hoaxtead case) and Doncaster v Watson (the Victoria Haigh case).
The key point is probalby in P&Q where Pauffley J said “Notwithstanding injunctions restraining Ms Draper and Sabine McNeill, one of her supporters, from publishing information from the proceedings on the internet or elsewhere, such material continues to be uploaded. Efforts to persuade internet servers to remove material have been of only limited value. As soon as information is removed by one provider, it emerges elsewhere.” That was in 2015.
She was also told to stop doing it when she received the restraining order and by the judge who dealt with her first breach of that – he is quoted a couple of days ago telling her that if she carried on she’d go to prison. He also prophetically said that she probably wouldn’t take any notice. She was also told not to do it when she was granted bail AND the first time she breached bail.
If I were representing her I might take a punt on getting a psychiatric report for an appeal, as there does seem to be a clear obsession here, but it’s quite broadbased – in additional to Hoaxtead she’s supported a number of causes which are invariably bad – the child abusing Musas, the violent and insane Maurice Kirk, the delusional paedophile Brian Pead, and so on. It may be connected with the decline in judgement which comes with age (similar to the recklessness of teenagers), though when she set off on this path she was under 70.

          • Thank you for the link. And she’s done it before Hoaxtead, you say? I’m not that far off 70 so I hope my brain isn’t in decline. Somebody has put up a video (sorry it’s been mentioned before) saying it was her first offence and implying that she (Mrs McNeill) had been duped by other participants in the hoax. I’ll put the link but the comments there show there are some very gullible people.
