Belinda teams up with Green in Heath ‘Satanic’ smear campaign

We noticed earlier this week that Belinda McKenzie, one of the prime forces behind the Hampstead “Satanic Ritual Abuse” hoax, had changed her Facebook profile photo. Hardly an earth-shattering observation, but we did wonder why she’d seemingly taken a step back in time, to the good old days when she and Robert Green were running the Hollie Greig hoax in Scotland.

Hint: Belinda’s hair hasn’t been that colour in years.

Things became only slightly clearer when we read the note accompanying the change in Facebook photos: Ah, now things began to fall into place.

The timing of Belinda’s switcheroo is most interesting. Having served his purpose…er, his time, Robert Green seems to have now embarked in a new direction: cosying up to the Wiltshire Police in order to support allegations of child sexual abuse against former prime minister Edward Heath.

And there’s Belinda right beside him, having adopted a new slogan: “PROTECT CHILDREN & SAVE MONEY!” Because who doesn’t want to protect children and save a few quid here and there?

Robert Green turns police informant?

Richard Bartholomew of the excellent Barth’s Notes blog has been doing yeoman’s duty lately, providing in-depth coverage of Operation Conifer in general and the Heath allegations in particular. We would strongly recommend that you take a look over there for the full picture, but we’ll try to provide a brief summary here as well.

In late September, the Sunday Times revealed that Robert Green had been providing Chief Constable Mike Veale of the Wiltshire Police with information relating to allegations of child sex abuse against Ted Heath.

Barth’s Notes quoted the ST in a post dated 29 September:

Mike Veale… emailed Robert Green, of Warrington, two weeks ago in response to an email Green had sent him. Veale wrote: “As ever thank you Robert.”

The words suggest the pair had communicated previously and will cast fresh doubt on the evidence that Veale’s force has gathered.

…Green is an activist closely involved with fraudulence [sic] allegations in Scotland in the so-called Hollie Greig case, in which claims that a girl with Down’s syndrome had been abused were found to be false. He was jailed for 12 months in 2012 for harassment.

As it turns out, while the ST did not clarify this, Mr Veale was thanking Mr Green “for an email in which he expressed his glee at the Mail on Sunday‘s front-page splash about how Operation Conifer’s findings were to be passed on to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. Green’s email and Veale’s reply were published on a Hollie Greig conspiracy website”. (Again, you’ll find further coverage of the Mail on Sunday‘s article on Barth’s Notes.)

It seems that Mr Green was less than delighted with the ST coverage, claiming that it was defamatory and portrayed him as a loon. However, he has confirmed that he has been in “regular contact” with Mr Veale, and has stated that he believes that Ted Heath was involved in Satanic ritual abuse against children. Hands up, everyone who’s even a little bit surprised.

Mr Green has launched his own publicity campaign via the Troofer Media. In an open letter on DavidIcke.com, he wrote:

The information that I forwarded to Chief Constable Veale was not researched by me at all, but I was merely relaying matters pertinent to the investigation produced by an expert of impeccable reputation, which, I`m sure you will agree, changes the whole perspective of the article. I have never had any contact with any of those who have complained about Sir Edward.

Mr Green also did the obligatory stint on the Richie Allen Show, and said that his “expert of impeccable reputation” is “perhaps a little old and frail and can’t deal with these things as well as she might have done “. Hmm.

Mystery informant identified

On 5 October, someone from the “HollieGreigJustice” website posted a letter, seemingly penned by Mr Green, in the comments section on Barth’s Notes:

Now that Chief Constable Mike Veale has published his report on Operation Conifer, with his customary display of dignity, professionalism and clarity, it may be an appropriate time for me to disclose some details of my limited involvement in the investigation.

As readers may be aware, the Chief Constable and I were recently subjected to a nasty, poorly-researched and inaccurate attack by the Heath-supporting Sunday Times. It included a cowardly and baseless smear against the evidence of Hollie Greig, undeniably a brave victim of multiple sexual abuse.

Despite being furnished with all the independent expert and police evidence fully supporting Hollie.the SIt was thus gutter journalism of the lowest kind.

I suspected that I was included in the attack, which was primarily aimed at undermining the gallant Chief Constable, because of the quality of the evidence that I had been able to relay to him, during the course of our correspondence.

This is how it all came about.

Over seven years ago, following the publicity surrounding the unlawful arrest and imprisonment I suffered in Aberdeen over Hollie`s case, I was invited to meet Dr Joan Coleman, a specialist in the field of child and ritual sexual abuse of impeccable reputation. Amongst other details, including some relating to Jimmy Savile and Cyril Smith, she offered some evidence about Sir Edward Heath. Although I was naturally not party to any depth of information, I did learn that evidence against Sir Edward had been provided by no fewer than five witnesses, all of them totally independent of each other.

I can say that due to the consistency of aspects of the content of the various statements, it would be impossible to deny that such evidence must be wholly credible.

Now, here in October 2017, it is interesting to recall that had I not been snatched from an Aberdeen street in February 2010, it is possible to imagine that such valuable evidence would never have seen the light of day.

In the meantime, I do ask readers to continue their support for Chief Constable Mike Veale and his team, who will have done much to restore public confidence in the police`s determination to investigate serious allegations of sexual crimes against children, without fear or favour.

Robert Green

Who is Dr Joan Coleman when she’s at home?

According to HR commenter Justin Sanity,

According to Coleman herself, writing in “Satanic Cult Practices”, published in Valerie Sinason’s book “Treating Survivors of Satanist Abuse”, 1994, (and repeated pretty much verbatim by RAINS group historian Sandra Buck: “The RAINS Network in the UK”, published in “Ritual Abuse in the 21st Century”, 2008), RAINS was founded by Joan Coleman, Eileen Reeves, Christine Johnson and Judith Dawson in 1989.

This organisation was founded in 1989 to counteract the growing resistance to the Satanic panic which was running rampant at the time. The founders of RAINS were true believers in the dogma of “Satanic ritual abuse”, and took it upon themselves to try to obtain funds in order to convince mental health professionals, police, and the government that SRA was the primary risk to children in the UK.

Justin says:

That’s an interesting interpretation of RAINS’ initial/original purpose, but the founders themselves have never stated that as far as I know. The way Coleman & Sandra Buck tell the story, neither they nor the child protection professionals they set out to assist, with RAINS as an information resource, had the faintest clue about SRA or anything related to it, at that time. They claim, that they came together to help each other “make sense” of totally mystifying “signs & symptoms” being acted out by children in their care or in their communities.

You are certainly correct in believing that they must have had more knowledge about the Satanic Panic underway in the US (North America) since 1985 or so, than they have ever been willing to publicly admit. People working in such fields, in the UK, could not possibly have remained ignorant of the massive news coverage about cases like McMartin, nor the obsessive discussion of SRA issues on American daytime TV, nor the promotion of SRA mythology within American psychiatry, social work, and child protection fields. I tend to believe, as Coleman et al suggest, that they intended to be the ones driving & controlling whatever SRA bus might subsequently manifest in the UK – and I think their subsequent notoriety bears that out.

A great deal of information on RAINS may be found on the SAFF website.

To review, then…

Robert Green, late of the Hollie Greig hoax, has been feeding the chief constable of the Wiltshire Police, Mike Veale, “information” regarding former prime minister Edward Heath’s alleged involvement in “Satanic ritual abuse”. Not “evidence”, mind you. Just “information”, such as one might gain over a pint or three of a Saturday evening.

Mr Green’s informant in this matter is Dr Joan Coleman, who has spent the past 30 or so years claiming that SRA is a thing, and, via the organisation she co-founded, campaigning vigorously to have it accepted. Oh, and slandering and harassing various and sundry innocent people along the way.

And, never one to be left behind when there’s a potentially lucrative hobbyhorse to be ridden, here comes Belinda McKenzie, standing proudly alongside Mr Green, ready to begin her next campaign of slander and defamation. Look out world!

  5. So, Roberet is asking people to support Mike Veal and his team. Does that mean not making false allegations Robert? Like the ones you and Belinder are so accustom too? If so I think he’s already got the measure of people like you, as there have already been people put on file for things like peverting the cause of justice, and oh, one person trying to be three different people. There is always a grain of truth in everything but Robert and Belinda have always had their own salt mines, and tried to dump as many grains as possible, over what is the actual truth. Robert was hardly snatched off the street, he was breaching bail conditions for sending letters to innocent people’s neighbours telling them the lived next door to paedophiles. Even Belinda didn’t escape when she made a statement in front of people saying she had seen proof of some one being a paedophile, when she hadn’t, so, it appears history is about to repeat it’s self, Belinda and Robert, why don’t you ask Bill Maloney and Chris Fay, why they’ve gone so quiet over this one.

    # I see on Barths Notes there is quite a fascinating response from Harvey Proctor.

    ## It’s beginning to really piss me off the way the ghastly Bellend McKenzie and others keep saying they are “trying to get people out of jail” as in Green & Quaintance. What bloody planet are they are on? The only possible way is via the courts. It’s just another bloody con trick they pull whereby they imply that somehow they have some magic formula that will simply get someone released from jail if they hold one of their pathetic demos or write something on a website.

    • Very pleased in this article that Matthew Scott labels David Icke as “repulsive” and it’s about time someone said it in a major newspaper.

This nasty flim flam con artist Icke has gotten away with murder for decades with the media treating him leniently and as some sort of harmless showman.
They did this earlier in Australia in a moronic “quality” newspaper report that was mainly about the grifter’s Moon being a satellite nonsense.

Icke has peddled dreadful falsehoods and blatant lies about all manner of people and caused 100s of innocent people immense grief and upset. He is a racist anti-Semite and a vicious, vindictive and nasty creep when confronted away from the cameras.
He also ripped off 100s of his former supporters of over £300,000 (twice what he claims) over his false “TV studio” (one expert reckons he spent no more than £10K on the whole scam) and because they are all small time ‘investors’ they have little recourse and no funds to access legal help.

  10. @coyote – excellent article, as always timely and very informative. Thank you.

    you said:
“Who is Dr Joan Coleman when she’s at home?
Only the co-founder, along with Valerie Sinason, of the infamous “Ritual Abuse Information Network and Support” (RAINS) group”.

That statement is inaccurate. The first meeting included Jeff Hopkins – a social work academic from Keele University – and those were the initial five members of RAINS.
I’m not certain if Valerie Sinason is now or ever has been a member of RAINS – she might be, and that would be logical, but Sinason is also quite obsessive about wanting to “drive the bus” herself and might not join that type of an organization if she would not automatically become Top Dog.

    you said:

  11. From the BBC News website:

“The seven victim disclosures for which Sir Edward would have been interviewed under caution:
1961, London: Sir Edward allegedly raped and indecently assaulted boy, 11, during a paid sexual encounter in private in a dwelling”.

A paid sexual encounter, in private…
There’s nothing intrinsically “satanic” about paying a child for sex, not even if the perpetrator “john” subsequently forces the child into sexual acts against their will (rape). If the rape & assault occurred in private, i.e., there was no one else present, I think we can rule out any kind of ceremonial ritual going on in that room at that time. There’s no possibility of SRA here, and there would appear to be no cult, or gang, or pedophile ring involved.

“1962, Kent: Sir Edward allegedly indecently assaulted a ten year-old-boy during a chance encounter in a public place”

A chance encounter, in a public place. Rituals require planning, they can’t take place “by chance”, and it’s extremely unlikely that a satanic abuse cult would be meeting in a public place – with all the robes and candles burning and chanting and screaming of victims. There’s no SRA here, and a chance encounter precludes cult, gang or pedophile ring involvement.

“1964, Sussex and London: Sir Edward allegedly indecently assaulted a 15-year-old boy in three paid sexual encounters”

Paid sexual encounters again. Can anyone find references to a satanic abuse cult known to have hired rent-boys off the street to be the victims in their ritual abuse, torture & sacrifice? Three different encounters, certainly precludes the boy being sacrificed at encounters 1 or 2, eh? No SRA here, no suggestion of a pedophile ring being involved in these encounters either.

“1967, Guernsey: Sir Edward allegedly indecently assaulted a 15-year-old boy in a public building”

    In a public building, again…

“1976, Jersey: Sir Edward allegedly indecently assaulted, over clothing, an adult male at a public event”

I thought SRA cults used child victims exclusively? No SRA here.

“1992, Wiltshire: Sir Edward allegedly assaulted an adult male after consent was withdrawn in a hotel”

So, after the man said – “no thanks” – Sir Edward’s SRA cult popped out of the cupboard they were all hiding in and subjected the man to ritual sex and torture…out of spite? No SRA here.

“Between 1990-1992, Wiltshire: Sir Edward allegedly indecently assaulted a male, aged between 12 and 14 years, in private gardens”

Repeatedly assaulted this boy over several years. Again, isn’t the modus operandi for SRA cults supposed to be on-off disposable victims? Or was this boy supposed to be Heath’s son, and being subjected to mind-control inducement sexual assaults, because he was a member of the intergenerational Health family SRA cult? Except…Heath didn’t have a wife & children, did he? No SRA here, no gangs, no cults, no pedophile rings.

Dozens of scientific experiments have shown this to be factual because of a very important fact: we all have our own unique minds and beliefs that can perceive events differently.

If these mindless morons only stopped for a single minute they could see this proved daily : a demonstration happens in Charlottseville where neo-Nazis march. Some people watching will think the marchers are OK people, others watching will think they are abhorrent evil bastards.

This is one of the great downsides of the Internet where so much knowledge – and absolute bullshit – is now available. We seem to be getting an increasingly dumbed down society where many people think a website is somehow sacrosanct and the information on it is handed down from God.

Thus they think a nasty, vicious racist plagiarist like David Icke is somehow a Prophet of our times rather than the evil lying false accuser he is.

  12. So…Joan Coleman.
In 1994, Joan Coleman was an Associate Specialist in Psychiatry at Heathlands Mental Health Services. “Associate Specialist” – generally a hospital staff doctor who has been promoted over the rank of “staff” by reason of seniority, but ranks below and works under a “Consultant”. A permanent mid-level functionary. Whoopee!

Coleman states in “Satanic Cult Practices”, (1994), that her first expose to the concept of SRA came through a patient of hers whom she had been treating for chronic self-injury since 1982. (I’ll call this patient “Granny SRA”). In November of 1986, Granny SRA supposedly started talking about child abuse and pornography in the apparent context of an organized pedophile ring. A nurse named Eileen Reeves became chummy with Granny SRA and over the next year she described a “catalogue of horrors” that included abduction of runaway boys, used for sex & pornography by the ring, and sometimes also tortured and murdered by “them”. Allegedly Granny SRA was now dying of leukemia and wanted to “tell everything” before she bought the farm. (Coleman never tells us what became of this person, what her ultimate fate was, nor even if she did die of cancer and when that might have happened). Granny SRA eventually spoke of witnessing ritual sexual abuse of tiny Vietnamese babies involving burning candles, inverted crosses, participants wearing robes, and ultimately cannibalism.
The list of possible, relevant, media influences on this woman – at this precise point in time – are immense. There was the Jack Chick line of ex-witch and ex-Satanist fraudster life story comics with graphic, detailed violence, and TV talkshow appearances by these same fraudsters, any of which could have been imported into the UK through the transatlantic fundamentalist Preachers network. There was the 20/20 program on Satanic & Occult Crimes in America, broadcast in May of 1985, which could have been imported on video cassette. There was intense discussion in the UK press about the discovery of the bodies of Jason Swift and Barry Lewis and speculation about what happened to them and who could be responsible. And on & on it goes.
But for Joan Coleman and Eileen Reeves, Granny SRA’s stories could only be genuine memories of her own real-life experiences. And so this mentally ill woman’s alleged dying rants became the core “facts” about supposed satanic abuse cults for Coleman & Reeves and all the subsequent members of their RAINS satanic panic promotion cult.

    Here are some examples of the astonishingly ignorant “satanic cult” concepts and beliefs that Joan Coleman adopted and disseminated to whomever would listen to her;
    – Satanic cult membership includes males & females from every occupation and walk of life, but overwhelmingly consists of professional people and persons “of authority” in our society. In fact, just as in Rosemary’s Baby movie, EVERYONE is in it – with the exception of their victims and a handful of particularly righteous persons (like, the membership of RAINS).
    – Satanic cults are organized into Covens of 13 persons led by a High Priestess and a High Priest.
NO – that’s the legendary/mythical organization and terminology associated with WITCHES! You fools. Overwhelmingly, organizations of self-professed “Satanists” in our society – if they had any inclinations toward “practicing magic” at all, have followed the ceremonial ritual traditions handed down through the Golden Dawn or the OTO. They are NOT witches, they would never call themselves a “coven”, they don’t give a fig about the number 13, and they don’t use the terminology of “High Priest & Priestess”.
    – the point of Satan worship is ultimately, to denigrate Christianity and Christ. “Satanism” is reverse-Christianity, with lots of inverted crosses and “666”s everywhere… because inverting crosses somehow HURTS or INJURES the transcendent beings of Christ-Jehovah-Holy Ghost, despite their being transcendent and incapable of suffering any earthly pains or suffering.

There’s much more, but that’s the quality of moronic understanding, or misunderstanding, about SRA and related subjects exhibited by Joan Coleman and her followers.
