Sabine, Belinda travel to Brussels

It’s our understanding that Sabine McNeill’s passport was taken from her, and has been held by police since her initial arrest last summer. So you can imagine our surprise and consternation when we began receiving emails and texts from concerned readers, reporting that Sabine is now claiming to have accompanied Belinda McKenzie on a junket to Brussels earlier this week.

According to Sabine’s Change.org petition site, “We spent Tuesday in Brussels, on the occasion of the Petitions Committee meeting with ‘child snatching’ on the agenda again”.

Sabine - Brussels EU cttee 2016-04-22

As usual, Sabine attempts to hijack the legitimate discourse of the EU Petitions Committee to her own ends, just as she and Belinda did in November 2015 when they tried to insinuate that their Forced Adoptions event was somehow linked to a delegation of MEPs who were visiting the UK at that time.

But more pertinent right now is the concern that Sabine seems to be able to travel abroad despite the lack of her UK passport, while her trial is ongoing.

We await word from the authorities on this. More to follow.

  1. If she has travelled to Brussels and been given back her passport, serious questions must be asked of the authorities. She has proven without doubt that she is a flight risk.

    • It’s been suggested that she has two passports, in which case I’m surprised the police wouldn’t have taken both. As you say, she’s confirmed that she’s a flight risk.

      • The Court would have ordered her to surrender her passport. I doubt a clerk would consider the existence of a second passport. An EU state passport would allow free passage of a EU citizen

      • I’m a dual citizen and I keep 2 passports in separate locations as you never know !. Perhaps she has a German passport. Actually I never heard courts or bail conditions say “surrender your passports”- just the singular.

  2. I suppose it is impossible to gain a variation to bail conditions for a ‘very important matter’ if one were to apply? I wonder how much that would cost? Would such an application be listed anywhere accessible? If not the surrender of a passport is a de facto restriction on travel outside the UK Is Sabine actually getting legal help for this case, given that it is a criminal matter? I think so. Given that she is going to take up so much court time by all her breaches of bail, is it in the public interest to have her at large where she can commit further offences that will stretch the public purse somewhat?

  3. Variation applications are only needed when the Court Bail Conditions are changed. Sadly it looks like the bail conditions set by the Police have not been continued and it would seem the only current bail restriction is “Not to contact any prosecution witness”

      • The Police bail ends when she surrendered to the Crown Court – at the end of her hearing the Judge decides if bail is going to be granted (or if a person is to be remanded in custody, pending trial) If the Court then sets bail it can ask for a wide range of conditions. That can range from unconditional bail through to monitored curfews or frequent reports to a nominated Police station

The Court looks at the questions of if the person is likely not to interfere with witnesses, commit further offences or might abscond before a trial.

        • Has Sabine been to crown court yet or to for committal in magistrates court? Same thing, I suppose. Not able to keep up with many other things going on. So it’s gone from a freedom restricting tag and passport surrender to ‘no contact with witnesses’ which is in a harassment charge just common sense avoidance of yet more charges, so in effect, no bail conditions at all, really. Disgusted.

          • Yes – Sabine has been charged, sent to Magistrates Court, Committed to Crown Court and is now listed for a 5 day trial, jointly charged with Neelu Berry starting 11th July.

  4. Perhaps the things they say in their petition are true but I note the Usual Suspects are included in their article. But even if they were true what on earth could these 2 ratbags do but make matters worse?

  5. If Sabine has two passports, presumably they would be 1) German and 2) British. If this is so then a requirement to surrender her passport would in her case mean both passports, and her failure to do this could be a breach of the qualifying bail conditions that allowed her bail in the first place. Giving her the freedom to be out and about and not locked in a cell in Holloway, on remand, awaiting her court case. Yes, this could be seen to be yet another two fingers up to the British Legal System by Sabine.

Coming back to the passports, if it is indeed the case that Sabine has two then the first could have been obtained by birthright, and this, perhaps, http://www.euractiv.com/section/justice-home-affairs/news/germany-moves-to-allow-dual-citizenship/. The second, the British, could have been obtained via her ‘marriage’ to Ian R McNeill who seems strangely absent from the internet, or residence, which may or may not have been based on ‘legal’ residence (as in EU treaty rights to be resident in UK) as Sabine does not seem to have done any ‘work’. Unless you qualify her promoting her ego, ie being the director of a company that was set up specifically with this in mind, iirc. Funny to have a whole company to push this kind of genius: ‘…Since 1996 I wrote and withdrew five patent applications…’https://3dmetrics.me.uk/who/skm/

Sabine wrote that her ‘pension’, read: ‘income support’ had been stopped due to her not fulfilling ‘residence’ requirements. I looked at the form that one would have to fill in to qualify (residency card, not mandatory, helpful for EU citizens in UK who want to claim benefits etc) but the detailed accounts required of the ‘work’ done to substantiate the conditions was eye-watering.

  6. What is this ‘Association of McKenzie Friends’ they talk of in their petition?. I can find no such entity. I see other McKenzie Friends have created associations and are agreeing to tougher rules including some legal training. Belinda McKenzie and her devils do not seem associated with any of the others. This is real grifter stuff- give yourself a name that can create a false meaning. These two are a real menace. I bet others in the industry are alarmed by their antics less their shenanigans reflect adversely upon them.

    • Yes, this has been one of their tactics–their ‘Association of McKenzie Friends’ sounds like an official organisation, when in fact it’s just a name that covers up their scamming ways.

  7. Weird sort of schizophrenia from Jake & A.Power-Disney. they both post a link to Stella Creasey MP’s article about on-line abuse where she “believes police and prosecutors do not understand that abuse on social media is a harassment, rather than a malicious content, issue.” She’s certainly correct on that.
    http://www.policeprofessional.com/news.aspx?id=25928

Then the female dill of the duo posts a link to an idiot truther who claims : “EXPOSED: BARNET POLICE & PRIESTS TRADE in EXTREME KIDDIE PORN”.

My quite considerable personal experience again dealing with these type of harassers early on from the internet where I had to advise my own lawyer under net attack to crack down swiftly & hard. He went softly softly which resulted in his own small children being drawn into the fray eventually and enough was enough after 4 years of persistent lies & libels. Court orders were sought & granted and now he threatens his harasser with defamation proceedings having discovered his attacker owns property. The harasser has back-pedaled at a rate of speed unseen before.

My advice to Barnet police officers is this : you fool yourselves that this matter will somehow fade away and by largely ignoring it you are giving it credence among these crazed persons. You may think it’s the easy way out but it is not – they WILL eventually begin defaming individual officers. They WILL eventually cause immense grief for you & your families. Ignoring these dreadful people is like ignoring a burglar and hoping they will just go away.

    • I note on the the libelous Truther website there is a comment from a S.K.McNeil who says she “left London” because she claims police wanted to question her about publishing details of children online and Barnet Council wanted her to appear before a judge in a custody case in respect of “contempt of court”.
Serious matters: would that person be able to retain their passport & travel abroad?. If so then British law is being repeatedly trashed or ignored by those who should implement it. It’s time authorities took note of Stella Creasey MP’s words.

    • I couldn’t agree more, Sam. Staying quiet and hoping it’ll all simmer down is a mug’s game–far better to take swift and sure action, and deal with the harassment firmly.
