Yesterday we talked about Abe and Ella’s latest fumbling, stumbling video interview, as presented on Guidance 2222’s YouTube channel. Some of you might even have looked up the sad mess and listened to it, and for that we are profoundly sorry.
But we did warn you.
We were wondering, though: what abject loser made the video in the first place? And who the heck is David Shurter when he’s at home? We should have known it wouldn’t take long for our loyal readers to fill us in.
First, the video-maker: his name is Stephen Roberts, he goes by the hilarious moniker ‘SUPERBIGBADMAN’,and he is the proud owner of a podcast site called Cancel the Cabal.
It’s just about as inspiring as you might imagine, and has a devoted readership of approximately 9 fruitcakes, some of whom are able to dress themselves without much assistance.
Roberts is hot stuff in the crackpot video world: just take a gander at these amazing viewing numbers!
Wowzas! We can see we’ll have to get up early to compete with SUPERBIGBADMAN!
But what about David Shurter?
As it turns out, Justin Sanity, one of our regular commenters, is the resident expert on Mr Shurter, and can give you the full lowdown on this blog (which is well worth an afternoon and a cuppa, if you’re so inclined).
The abbreviated version is that Shurter is a self-described ‘loser’ who has for some reason found personal gratification in inserting himself into a fake family history involving (you guessed it!) child sexual abuse, murder, cannibalism…is this starting to sound at all familiar?
Shurter claimed to be a murderer in these early videos, but also that he did not know the identity of the man he supposedly killed nor did he have any proof that such a murder actually took place. Shurter claimed that he had ‘repressed’ the memory of this murder until 2007, when he allegedly “remembered” the event “in a dream”. In a dream! (As “everyone knows”, dreams are actually 100% accurate recollections of real events in our lives – right?)
As time went on Shurter’s fantasies, or paranoid delusions, or plain old lies, evolved a grandiose mythology about himself and his family during his childhood. His father was supposedly the leader of a large & powerful satanic cult operating in Nebraska, (and Michigan, he would later claim). He had been victimized by the same CIA MKultra mind control cult operating out of Offut Air Base that Paul Bonacci claimed to be a victim of, (although he would later denounce Bonacci as a lying ‘poser’). He was “raised to be the Anti-Christ”, and inherit not only his father’s satanic empire but that of Michael Aquino as well, (he claims to have been personally ‘trained’ in various Black Arts by Aquino). He had been raped and tortured, his family had traveled the US commiting kidnappings, rapes, sacrifices and cannibalism (that’s where the missing children of his childhood went, he claims – he and his family ate them all!).
A horrific story, if it had even a shred of truth to it. In fact,
David’s parents were not satanists, there was no maniacal satanic cult operating in Nebraska, there was no Monarch mind-control project operating out of Offutt air base, and David never met or had contact with Michael Aquino in his childhood.
And so we begin to see why Stephen Roberts decided to do a show featuring both Shurter and Abe & Ella. Clearly, Roberts has a thing for lying blowhards who like to indulge in discussions of their paedophilic sexual fantasies. It’s all starting to make sense now.
Shurter shares another trait with many of those involved in Hoaxtead: he likes to label any0ne who challenges his strange stories as ‘pedophile supporters’ (he’s American, so he spells it funny).
And yet, irony of irony, he seems to have a number of dear friends who are….(oh, come on, just guess!)…paedophiles!
In Shurter’s pathetic excuse for a book, “Rabbit Hole”, he calls Walter Carlson and Mark Andersen, his friends! His convicted pedophile friends! Worse, he dismisses the testimony of the child victims in these cases as “no real evidence” and tries to portray these pedophile perpetrators as innocent victims of a conspiracy by the boys and their families:
“Mark Andersen and Walt Carlson were convicted and sentenced to spend years in prison. No real evidence linked Mark and Walt to any crime, but Omaha had become a circus dictating justice from a kangaroo court. The fact that the parents of the boy had tried to extort money from Mark before going to the police (which came out in court), was insufficient to save him and Walt from prison” – Shurter, in Rabbit Hole.
It’s fascinating that Ella and Abe have chosen to cast their lot with these two bottom-of-the-barrel types. We think it speaks to their current desperation to get their story out there, and their growing inability to interest even the most marginal troofer promoters in their particular brand of crazy.
